I'm Blacklisted - Can Someone Help??

I haven't submitted free sites in a while. Just sent one to LOR and it passed ok. Then submitted to Smut Gremlin's and was directed to a blacklist page. Apparently, my email (ksellers@btopenworld.com) is blacklisted!

Can someone look into this for me please? I have no idea why I've been blacklisted. I used to submit daily to most of the top LLs and was always listed. I think most/all of you know that I've never used any tricks or unethical practices.

I'm pretty fucked off actually.

Anyone willing to look into it for me?

Yep, Ramster, this is me being exceedingly nice. I like you, but here's my point (afterwhich, I'm sure I'll be viewed as a cocksucker, but fuck it):

I'm just pissed off. I submit a site that throws a 404 due to my server, not me. Now, there's no advertising on the 404 -- it's actually a blank page. Greenguy knows me, as you do, and when it comes to this biz I'm honest and would never dick with someone's income. My sites are good, clean, and I'm known by LL webmasters.

Instead of dicking with my income, perhaps a friend would have emailed, saying "Kris, your link 404ed on me, I've deleted it but feel free to resubmit when you've got it sorted."

Now...offline, I take shit from no one. And no one bothers giving me any. It's the way I like it. Offline, I'm either your best friend, or worst enamy. It works best for me.

I've always liked GG and thought he liked me. Business is all about trust and who you know. Helping one another, etc.

I would NEVER knowingly submit a bad anything - site, gallery, anything. Everyone knows this.

Therefore, I've been fucked up the ass and I'm pissed.

I may know you, but the person that runs my linkbot has no fucking clue who you or anoyone else is - this is done on purpose so that everyone is treated the same way.

If a site goes 404 that I have listed, we delete it & blacklist it - plain & simple. We do not waste time checking to see what the 404 page looks like, mostly because 90% of them are console popping hell holes. All the linkbot says is that the site is 404.

& like I said, I removed your email from the blacklsit as well as your domains - I did not have to go thru the trouble of looking up the domains that you have submitted to me - I could have been a dickhead & just removed the email (which is what you appealed, not the domains) & went on with my day.

Stop thinking everyone is out to get you - there's usually a very simple explanation to these problems

I'm going to hazzard a guess that the site in question is hosted on Revshare. The reason I guess this is because if something happens to a site, it will usually request the 404 from one of the 5 servers. To a link list operator a 404 is a site that has been taken down, not a server issue. Most server issues just return a DNS error not a 404. I have nothing against Revshare as I use them myself, but I've started to think that for link list submissions, payed hosting may be the way to go. I understand that Revshare isn't actually free, but as you said, when it is your income that is concerned, with paid hosting you actually have some say over things, and you know when you have server issues that it isn't going to send out a 404.

Just my 2 cents.
