Question Do you prefer ePassporte payments?

We're kinda putting feelers out and seeing who likes to be paid with ePassporte rather than standard checks from Epoch. Tell me if you prefer ePassporte whether you promote our program or not. We just want to get an idea of webmaster interest.

ePassporte works great for affiliate payouts, especially for foreign webmasters since they don't wait weeks for their checks or pay massive fees to cash them.

Checks take time. Address changes take time. Clearing a check takes time.

ePassporte alleviates all of that.

And now that affiliates in the U.S. can move money from their eP to their bank account (as Pay Pal once allowed) ePassporte is a very good alternative.

Checks are so last century.

Yes, epassporte.

I'll like epassporte even more when they value their foreign affiliates (English, in my case) as much as their american counterparts. We give the world beatles, rolling stones, shakespeare, ozzie, etc...you'd think an englishman would deserve bank transfers from epassporte. Ah well...

haha!

My best freind is an Englishmen. And so are a lot of Epoch's foreign affilates!

And let me just say for the record... some of the best comedy, music, and unbiased news comes from the U.K. -- We love you!

Banking is a little different though. It's not impossible and those who work on the integration are working on the details, but of course the Epoch team who builds the online processing functionality integrate what they know best and branch out. Your day is coming.

The only thing you really can't do is move money from your eP account to your UK bank account. Just use your ePassporte Visa Electron card to shop or withdraw from an ATM until the folks at ePassporte can work out the UK solution.

I love the service, don't get me wrong. And I wholeheartedly agree with you about cheques being obsolete. I wouldn't be happy though unless I had something to moan about

I love to receive Moneybookers payments and I hate Epassporte for a variety of reasons. Among them:

Not a very convenient system to sign up with or use
Allows Charge backs
To USA oriented for a European like myself
Don't trust them after reading Praypal like horror stories on them on several webmaster boards.

All combined I'll go with moneybookers and do wires for the rest

It's a nice payment option for a program to offer webmasters, but in the end, it's the program & how it converts that determins what I do with that program & not the bells & whistles

being an international webmaster i must say that these days epassporte is often what will make me decide to try a new sponsor. For me theres nothing worse than $20 checks (that we pay $10 to clear) if a program takes a while to get moving and they don't let u up the limit.

For me, ePassporte is almost a must. I at least need wire or direct deposit. I have had far too many problems with checks being lost or stolen in the mail and not arriving when I really needed them, and being paid and having the money available for immediate withdrawal is great for peace of mind.

ePassporte is a Visa. It has the acceptance of Visa.

Be sure you use the proper account when making a purchase. The Virtual Visa that you receive via email is for online use only. It works most everywhere online with the exception of certain high risk markets. Not to say ePassporte can't be used in the high risk areas, as those particular markets may use eP if they have an agreement with ePassporte. Otherwise, I've used mine to buy lots of stuff online.

The eP Visa Electron card is for real world use such as buying groceries or withdrawing money from an ATM. An Electron card must be used with an electronic terminal that receives authorization for the sale. The Electron card will *not* work on the Internet.

My ePassporte account has features I wish my own banking account would incorporate. Such as being able to check my balance or transfer money to someone from my cell phone. You might think you wouldn't use it... but it comes in handy.
