State Senator wants to ban male masturbation.
So this is what Congress is doing: outlawing masturbation. Of all the stupid crazy cockmamie things happening in our government, I won't be surprised if this gets passed. Oklahoma state senator Constance Johnson introduced an amendment to that state's Personhood bill, SB 1433, that would essentially outlaw masturbation for men. Johnson's amendment proposed that the legislation include a provision that men ejaculating anywhere outside a woman's vagina be considered "an action against an unborn child." Johnson wrote about the amendment in the Guardian: Quote:

Someone needs to just ejaculate on her face. Afterwards the folks of Oklahoma need to elect someone that's not a bible thumper.

This is a satire bill in repsonse to all the Republican led personhood bullshit. It is designed to make a point.
'My amendment seeks to draw attention to the absurdity, duplicity and lack of balance inherent in the policies of this state in regard to women. ` this amendment seeks to draw humorous attention to the hypocrisy and inconsistency of this proposal – from the Republican perspective of down-sized government and less government intrusion into people's private affairs' http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisf...ersonhood-bill |

This has been in the news for a while you know.
It's an "every sperm is sacred" counterattack to the religious right's claims of personhood for fertilized eggs. So it's actually very much on our side of things. Related types of legal actons require drug testing for politicians who want to drug test welfare recipients, and anal ultrasounds for men to get viagra. But it's kind of funny to see people here assume that it's a right wing thing. |
