Recips - Alternatives to Mirrors?

Hello again everyone. Im still fighting to get this whole thing figured out. I was wondering what kind of alternatives there are to mirroring my warning page eleventy billion times?

Mirrors seem like an ugly workaround to me. Keep in mind im new but it seems odd to make a bunch of the same page and then put 6-8 recips on each one, just to different LL's. I tried to check some of the pages that were already accepted but the more I did that the more confused I became. There does not seem to be any standard. For every page that I found with only 6-8 table and button recips I found another who had plain text links to every LL on earth all on the index page.

Just wondering which the LL owners prefer and how others who make free sites are doing it.

I don't think mirrors are the problem that some link sites have, it's the way they're handled. A lot want to be on an index page, but it doesn't have to be the root index. Something like domain.com/folder/index.html is usually fine. You can put all the images in one folder and create separate folders for each mirror.

It realy all depends on how you lay out the recips - it's been said a million times before - we've all seen pages with 12 recips that looked fantastic & we've all see pages with 4 recips that looked like shit.

Mirroring is just part of the link list & tgp game

Thanks! I was going through all those rules pages and kept running into sites that wouldnt let me put them on anything but index pages and thats what got me thinking.

about the recip tables does this look good? or should I try something else.

you dont need to review the whole site (unless you really want to, just wanted some feedback on the recips. heck you dont even have to look. I think it looks good but what the heck do I know.

Recip table looks good to me. I would center the bottom 3 tables, they look off to the left to me.

I didn't look inside.

Yeah, all those tables are left justified. If you're at 800x600 they may look centered though. Usually if you set your table width to 750px and center em they'll work for 800x600 and 1024x768.

Inside looks good too, but the gallery links on the main page are to the left also. I don't think anyone would reject for that, but ya never know.
