I'm going to the backseat of my car with the woman I love, and I won't be back for TEN MINUTES

Why ? If someone is located in the UK...
Why would it be necessary to have a USC 5527 Compliance record link on any freestie or otherwise; a site that someone has built and owns outside of the USA ! Why is it necessary to comply with rules that the USA does not control as a power in of themselves. And don't give me some polotical correct crap to the internet etiquette ! I want the facts!

If they are hosted in the US, then they need to have the 2257 info on hand because there server is here.
Otherwise, you're right, they don't need it. |

You can now put whatever you want in this space :)

The U.S. government claims extraterritorial jurisdiction with respect to USC 2257. I've read somewhere else that they claim if your sites target Americans then you must comply regardless of where you or your server resides. No one ever said this was practical and or had a sliver of common sense though!
