Google bot
OK so I got a new user interface with my host and new stats which are cool and was looking at bot traffic and saw that the google bot had been to my site 68 times useing 1.7mb of bandwidth.
How often does there bot hit your site? With all the changes in google, I'm wondering if this is a good thing or not? |

if you have lots of text rich pages and add fresh content regularly it's not unusual to have google hit a site like that.
for instance, today my biggest site has had 2813 hits from googlebot and burned 28.3 mb. i'm sure others here have seen the same or even more hits from googlebot. its a very hungry spider  |

Mine is a thumbnail preview site that updates every 5 minutes, I'm adding more pages, so I guess I'll see more bots
