Updating Submitted Freesites
Do the linklist scripts tell the linklist owner if the site has been changed since it was submitted and accepted? I ask because I know my TGP software does...and sometimes when you submit a freesite to 9 linklists, one of the linklist owners might ask for something to be corrected with their recip or the meta tags or something...in a scenario like this, is the approved freesite flagged?

Generally speaking leave well alone after you've submitted.
But if you have to tweak a Recip because you're asked to it won't cause problems.

I'm not sure if an altered freesite is flagged, I would imagine that it is. It makes sense as a basic function of a link list owner's tools to keep tabs on mistakes and cheaters.
It raises another question. What happens when you have loads of freesite recip tables already out there and one of those recip link lists dies, or redirects for some reason. For example: http:/www.freepornyes.com/ used to accept freesites, (formally tonsporn, I think), but now doesn't. Also, http://www.funsmut.com/ now redirects to a BangBros page. Would a freesite submitter get in trouble for linking to a redirected, or non-active link lists in a recip table? |

My wife is not a doobie to be passed around! On our wedding day I promised to bogart her for life!

Don`t make any changes until necessary
If you change only the recip it should be fine, but you never know. A lot of LLs use different scripts so there is no ultimate answer. |

Where there's a will, I want to be in it.

You can change whatever the fuck you want, as long as your site still follows the rules, I don't give a flying monkey fuck, and I don't have a clue why anyone else would.

You SHOULD update your free sites if you can. Just don't break the rules and you'll be good.

NO! Im not a female - but being a dragon, I do eat them.

Ill second what spacemanspiff says - I know that all of the bigger LL owners encourage you to change your free sites if they arent converting very well (try a different sponsor - whatever) - with the warning that he included - that they stay within the rules after the changes
Ive been changing free sites listed on just about every major LL for as long as I can remember (Im getting old so thats not a real long time - but at least 7 or 8 years) - you would be stupid not to in my opinion |

That'll teach you to leave your sister unattended.....

I've been wanting to ask this question all week There are times when I need to change a recip, a tour link, or spelling that I missed first time around. But since seeing this post: http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...ad.php?t=43273, I’ve been a little hesitant to fuck with anything. I sure as hell don’t want to lose a link to Tommy for a stupid spellin error

I think it depends on what script is being used by the listing site.
I use the same set of pics/vids for both TGPing and free sites so if I was to mess with the pics/vids the TGP's bots would pull my galleries or worse. I think you are ok changing recips on the index page or updating link code on an ad but personally I try real hard to leave stuff that I've built alone. |
