Hats Off To These Rich Guys
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/5115920.stm
"Billionaire investor Warren Buffett is to donate about $37bn (£20bn) - most of his vast personal fortune - to Bill Gates' charitable foundation." This is really a beautiful thing. |

I saw that this morning. I thought it broke down to about $30 Billion to Bill Gates, $3 Billion to Buffett's deceased wife's charity and about a Billion to each of his 3 children's charities.
But anyway you slice it, Bill Gates charity is very rich these days Or, it will be next week. I wondered this morning how this would effect the Forbes Top Rich People. Both these guys should drop considerably. |

The interest on that money generates 157.00 per second.. which translates to 9420.00 per minute and 565,200.00 per hour. I wish warren could give me 1 minute of his interest time.
The now expanded gates foundation is larger than the GDP of 187 nations, would keep the UN operating for 5 years, and is bigger than all of the combined budgets of Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas for the next 20 years. and maybe they will find a cure for aids. |
