Wazza, ronnie, plateman, CrazySy, MrYum, MadMax, surfn, Jel and dareutwo - inside plz
It's nice to be bashed on a public board.
I'm here to explain why you guys thought I was cheating, when I wasn't. I know this isn't the right board, but since Wazza also posted here I think it would be fair if this thread was left here for a little while at least. Here's my reply: http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...ad.php?t=27686 I'm not a cheater, and that thread was TOTALLY uncalled for. You could have reached me Wazza. I'm pretty sure you would be very upset if anyone came here and tried to bash your name.

Hi tranza,
Fair enough, but hopefully you can see why we thought something was up. If Ramster speaks up for you then that's good enough for me to be honest |

Took the hint.

Tranza, I posted in the other thread, but I want to make it clear:
How would a link site know you are not multisubmitting? the answer is no way to tell. It looks like a pure multisubmit attempt to get around the rules, and you got caught at it. 100% of what I can see says "tried to get around the rules" and we have but your word against it. Mea culpa, be nice to people, and try to get back what you have lost by your actions (intentional or otherwise). Alex |

I reported what I saw, no more, no less - there was no malice involved...
I've never multi submitted - in fact I still use the same name and email address I've used for submitting since day #2 Having wasted many hours hunting down Brazilian multis in the MGP world I'm not saying sorry for being all over you like a fat kid on a cupcake... Friendly advice #1 - email link lists first and get their agreement Friendly advice #2 - Ramster slapped me around the head when I was a free site newbie, and it was 100% deserved. A slapping never hurt noone...

Tranza, I never called you a cheater and I don't own a TGP or Link List and that means I don't do reviews however, I would have looked at that as 100% cheating if I did do reviews and was not approached in advance by the submitter. I have seen the same situation and the same answer so many times on this board.

Arghhhh...submit yer sites ya ruddy swabs!

Hey Tranza...
Well, this is one of those 'if it walks like a duck' things. All the evidence points toward someone attempting to circumvent the rules. As others have mentioned, we had no way of knowing the specific situation. Actually my site does accept multiple submissions/day providing the sites are different and in different categories. And yet I still get fucktards trying to 'sneak' in extra submits when there's no need to sneak From what you've said and the evidence Wazza presented, the situation has all the warning signs of a multi submitter. It was only a matter of time until someone outted you. All that said, I'm with Jel...the fact that Ramster stood up for you speaks volumes...it's all good here Oh, I wouldn't have listed those sites anyway...side scroll...'y*ung girls'...blind links...zero continuity to the sites...etc.. Your 'friends' were well on their way to getting those domains blacklisted anyway. |

well what can I say I dont really agree with your set-up... but seeing as ramster is a good friend and if he says your ok and not a cheat then ok I will remove your domains form banned list... but with any set up like this watch what your friends do as they can suck you down the tubes... and get your stuff banned as they are using your hosting and domians..
another thing of advise is tell your friends or partners to not all build the same niche and dont promote the same thing day after day, rotate.. And you should have told the LL about this first as you probably know this now... oh and pm me a list of the perment submitt names and domains those submitters will be using and I'll check my BL Last edited by plateman; 2006-01-09 at 04:41 PM.. |

Thanks for all the advices, off course I understand why you guys thought that way and I assume that I screwed up when I didn't inform the LinkLists.
This is just a quick reply since it's almost 10PM and I was going out but I really wanted so see all the responses. I'll reply better tomorrow, to all of you.

Hey Tranza,
The fact that Ramster came out for you goes a long way. The fact remains, however, that Wazza was absolutely correct. While I understand that it may be difficult to get sponsors to allow Brazilians to sign up for their programs, why is it again that Brazilians can't get domains or hosting? If what you were doing was OK, then by extension it would be OK if I hired a bunch of webmasters to build and submit freesites and galleries with my sponsor codes. I've got a couple problems with your story. First off, (and this is just a "gut" feeling), honest people who've been wronged don't generally try to fix the situation with a "you guys are assholes" attitude like the one you had in the other thread and the one you had when you started this one. Now we've got 3 threads on the same topic so it's difficult to keep track of what was said when. Being that you've obviously been around for a while (judging by the fact that you registered here almost 2 years ago) AND you run a TGP, how could you think that you and your buddies wouldn't be flagged as multisubmitters? You're also springing for dedicated IPs for each domain, which keeps a quick whois check from flagging the fact that they're on the same server. No money for a $6.95 domain, but plenty of money to pay a buck a month each for an IP? Just doesn't add up for me. The following tend to be signs of multisubmitting: --Multiple submits from similar/identical IPs and different identities. --Same sponsor codes from different submitting identities --Multiple identities with the same whois info. --Multiple identities with extremely similar site designs At the end of the day, you're doing three of the four, and you've been around long enough to know better. I don't have anything against you (and you don't even submit to me). In fact, I probably wouldn't have bothered posting in this thread if I wasn't named in the title. That said, those domains are not on my blacklist ONLY because Ramster spoke up for you. I would sincerely suggest that you completely revise your strategy in order to prevent getting blacklisted anywhere and everywhere, as most link list owners will blacklist and never think twice...and it will only take one of them adding you to a shared blacklist to put a serious crimp in your traffic. |

tranza is a good guy and I doubt he would cheat. He's a little more well known in tgp circles, he's had a partner account with me for the last 8 months, submits daily, and I've never had a problem with any of his submits. So, I'm going to agree with Ramster on this and would take his explanation at face value.
I understand why the issue was raised though and I'm sure tranza will make all the necessary adjustments or inform the LL's he submits to, etc. |
