Open letter to all sponsors who pay via ePassporte

Dear affiliate program webmasters. If you pay affiliate payments via epassporte, please write in description:
1) Your full program name
2) Payment period(s)

Each time when I checking my ePassporte records I found anonymous payments and even Google can't help me. Please respect your affiliates and their time.

You got it. I will pass this along to accounting. Thanks for letting us know your concerns. I can see how it could be confusing for you

Using NATS and batch, we have these things:

Epassporte Account | Amount | Description | Reseller | Message

Where description can only be a specific length, so here we simply use "MassiveDollars.com" and then in the message field we write:
"Payout 12/01/2005 - 12/31/2005 username" where username is the resellers login at MassiveDollars.com

I tried to check a reseller account and it looks like you at first only see the "MassiveDollars.com" in the statement and then need to look at the email to see the "Payout 12/01/2005 - 12/31/2005 username" and in the email I then don't see the "MassiveDollars.com" but only our epassporte account name "paymentpartner"

Kit, you get our payment on epass - is there anything we (and other sponsors) can do to make it easier to track, now that I tried to explain how it looks like for us.

One thing I will add is "Payout 12/01/2005 - 12/31/2005 username" should be "MassiveDollars.com payout 12/01/2005 - 12/31/2005 username" so at least the email is clear.

Just in case this is what we can do according to Epassporte:
- Field Type / Length Description
Customer User ID Alpha
Min 5, Max 32

- Recipient User ID:
User ID or User name of account to be paid.
The recipient account can be a business, affiliate or personal account.
Amount Numeric
Min 3, Max 8
(Max length includes decimal point)
No dollar sign, No commas

- Transfer Amount:
The amount to be loaded on the virtual card less any customer paid issuance fees.
Examples:
50.00 = $50.00 payment
150.00 = $150.00 payment
1435.19 = $1,435.19 payment
(do not include $ sign or ,)
Description Alpha
Max length 19

- Transfer Description:
Transaction descriptor in the online statement
Format: "Load: " + descriptor Example:
description="invoice 12345"
descriptor would be:
"Load: invoice 12345"
User1 Alpha
Max length 32

- User Field:
An optional field that is logged with transaction and reported in data dumps.
This field is optional and can be blank.
Message Alpha
Max Length
255

- Email Comment:
Message added to standard email sent to recipient / destination ePassporte user ID.
This field is optional and can be blank.

Hope this can be helpful for other sponsors too!

I asked Keyser from ePassporte to read this topic. I hope they will pay more attention to this damn problem. I've posted the similar topic on GFY, I read the good idea there: create a profile for each business account.

I see this epassporte often....is this becoming the flavor of receiving and requesting payments now with most? I am trying to find a good source to do this with our site(s) and for a new one I am putting together. Any pro's and cons to them?

**I agree with Kit, I would want to know who sent $$ and for what

When we pay via Epassporte our accounting department places our sponser name "LotzaDollars" and the payment period in the description area
That is a necessity

When ever new programs sign up for ePassporte to pay affiliates, their contact at ePassporte will make them aware of this and suggest they put their program name in the description area.

Thanks for bringing this up.

The $5 per $100 or part thereof load fee... (the marginal load fee of 100% on a load of $105 or $205 etc is a particularly good feature)

The fact that you have to come to GG&J for support...

Other than that Episspot is a tremendous service
