Anyone bought ads on Jane's Guide?
I've always liked Jane's Guide, and I'm thinking about advertising. Has anyone else ever run banners ads there?
Here's their ad page: http://www.janesguide.com/wm/advertising.html I don't understand what/where the "Editorial Page" is, but I was thinking of going with the "Internal Rotation". |

Well I think it will be hard to turn out a good profit if you have not your own paysite to advertise.
Example: Take 3% as ctr = only 3000 clicks now to make your $700 back on $35 pps you need to convert better than 1:150 (not that easy) So it really depends how much ctr your banner can create! If you can get 10% then you only need to convert 1:500 or better to make the money back. So without rebills / your own paysite you need a sponsor that converts somewhere between 1:100 - 1:250 on average to make a slight profit. |
