two teenage boys were teasing another boy saying his mother was a major milf....

it's unusual to hear a term on TV
that you only associate with

I heard that too. I nearly fell out of my chair when I did. Of course I had to then explain to my GF what MILF stood for. I just couldn't believe that the term was used in prime time tv. I'm just curious as to how many folks watching it actaully knew what it meant.

probably not if one includes things like the "Howard Stern Show"
and such...

but for Prime Time - Major Networks - - - - I wonder if it
was the FIRST mention ??

I personally do not watch much TV, but Thursday night on CBS has my undivided attention. I couldn't say for certain, but if it hasn't been used before, it was really ballsy for CBS to use it.

well i think that term was 1st used in "American Pie" and in the porn world it took off.. so it maybe be more mainstream that we think..

Yup I heard it too. Good show btw, first time I watched it.

The first time I heard the word outside of my porn life was last summer I went to one of those NBA 3-on-3 tournies and one of the guys on my team I hang out with only at basketball really said hey check out that Milf. I heard 'milf' on a show a few months ago .. can't remember which one. That term seems to be on its' way to becoming a popular slang.

Thursday is a 'bad' night for me ... 'bad' because I don't get much work done! Survivor, CSI, Without A Trace ... great shows ... but last night I missed them all because our hot water heater burst about 7:30. What a mess!
