Random Blog Stuff
It seems these days that a blog of some sort is needed to work or simply keep up with the search engines.I get a little play from SEO traffic but I know I can do better if I were to expand my content.Iv'e been wanting to add a blog to dickheadshit.com for a while now but I'm a bit foggy on a few things and am just now getting around to asking about them. Some questions are blogish and others are a bit SEOish and some are just dumb questions I really should know the answer to but somehow managed to survive anyhow. Also it's almost 5 am on a Sunday morning so I might be just a little off|twinkle |twinkle |twinkle
1.If you have a site that is clearly a porn site in the search engines,if I suddenly started a blog with random off topic posts on politics etc. would google say 'this site has fresh, unique content that surfers might like' or 'this site is completly off topic and provides little or no value for the surfer'?? 2. Some blogs I see are contained within a directory 'myblog' etc. and others are placed within the root such as ttp://mysite.com/ Does it make any difference? 3.Do I HAAAVE to install blog software to get SE's to notice it? I would really just rather use my current WYSIWYG editor to do it. 4.Although I lean more to the left,I consider myself sort of a independent so I guess it wouldn't matter but just out of curiosity, for those of you doing political blogs,do you end up cutting your traffic in half between democrats and republicans? That would kind of suck. Also, anyone ever fuse politics and porn? ( I'm talking BSP - before Sarah Palin here ) 5.Do porn surfers even read what you guys are writing? To me,reading and surfing for porn just don't jive. Also,do you guys even care if it's interesting to read or do you just 'talk' to google and hope it makes sense? 6. Do blog posts containing random youtube.com video clips entertain surfers or does it bore them by the looks of your traffic? On one hand I think it's sort of a cool, easy way to give a blog a pulse but on the other hand I'm thinking if I wanted to watch whatever video,I would just go to youtube.com and search for it. 7.Is a daily blog something you bloggers write with ease or does it become a constant struggle to find something to talk about? It seems like after a month or 2 the 'writers juice' could dry up and the whole thing would get old. 8. When starting a blog on a already existing site containing a home page,is it safe to assume that my blog page will eventually take over and become my new main page by SEO's? Anyhow,I hope the above came out right and made sense.
