I could post some really ugly numbers if it was the entire program, but thats not accurate. You should show the clicks/conversions to actual sites. IMO.

Not to piss in anyone's Cherrios, but those number, regardless of them being good or bad, are a very small sample. Jim's always advised people to not base anything on less than 5000 hits.
I used to do my stats once a month, but found that I was getting slanted results because of the lucky sign up here & there, so I went to using 3 months of stats to get more accurate results. CyberErotica 0:420 - if the next surfer joined, it's be 1:421 & would not longer look that bad |

Yep
5000 has always been the number. Stat reporting is worthless when you are talking about less than that number of hits. |

5000 is generally the accepted number of hits before switching programs from what i have heard also
How do LL owners feel about freesites that change ads for non performance?

5k? Well, that's a pretty tough number to reach of LL traffic.
Well, I guess not so tough checking my stats to date. I just hit 5050 uniques on 1 site I have 3 free sites for- and those sites happened to get good rankings at penis bot. My 2nd highest uniques is 3579, and I think I have 2 free sites for that one. Guess it gets easier after one dips into TGP traffic and has a bunch of traffic feeds. Maybe that's why newbies can't get into a groove...they ditch a program before enough uniques have come in to make a truly good decision on whether it's doing well for them. Jim, what do consider a good average conversion ratio that you'd still stick with? From FTV's e-mails (I think?) I was surprised they mentioned converting at average 1:500+ something. Surprised, but it was refreshing instead of reading "We are doing 1:63!!!" sorta stuff. That site I have 5050 uniques on is doing 1:631 Bandwitdth is pretty cheap and I like the content, so I think I will continue to make a few more sites for it. I guess, it's mediocre, but it makes money for me. It's easier for people like GG who have lots of traffic to get that amount of uniques quickly. I suppose after 6 more months of heavy submitting to both LL's and TGP I'll have better feelings about what conversions I'm happy with. |

For the most part, Link List owners don't care what you do after you're listed, as long as you're still following the rules

Im not switching any of my sponsors currently, Im just adding more sites and more sponsors. When I get to around 10000 hits per sponsor Ill find out exactly how they perform, and also remember my stats are raw hits, not uniques, or 2nd page hits.

5000 over a month is a pretty good gauge. After you've sent that you can tell where it's going. I usually try something out up to 5-6k over a week or so. I then determine from that whether the sponsor is a keeper. |

Yeah, that's a bummer.
I'll just pick a pretty good converter out: Sunnydollars Last month I was able to get: 4888 uniques 19 1:258 from tgp traffic. I haven't done too many freesites yet. That's a pretty typical month during the winter. Might want to reanalyze everything like wording of text links, type of banners, layouts, niches, content, etc. and start experimenting with new ideas. Just a suggestion if you're not already doing that anyway.

Yeah I've had troubles converting TCG as of late also, currently im at 0:650, I've also had a slight drop with pimproll this period, Im at 1:1054 with 5 signups and 5271 uniques sent, altough its hard to judge before you have been sending traffic steadily to a sponsor for say 1month, suddenly a site will make 4 sales and whoops your ratio is down to 1:300 something

There is one sponsor that most people seem to be making mad money with. Not only can I not make money with them; I can't even seem to get traffic to them. I've tried TGP, free site, and link list traffic. It's just not working out for me. That says nothing about me, and nothing about the sponsor, except that on some level we are not compatible. C'est la vie. |

Hey Klone :-)
I can't say to much about those stats cause there's not enough hits and info there. But from what I saw it doesn't look bad. Plus... each sponsor has there own tracking system. So one has to compare apples to apples etc... Are we talking first page hits, second, third, etc... Uniques or Raw, etccc. Stats are what you make of them. The stats I go by myself are... A: How much money is going into my bank. And... B: How much did it cost me to get it. As long as A is more than B... I'm a happy camper. :-) |
