CCBill Transfer Costs

Maybe I'm just being petty, but.....

On each of the checks that I get from CCBill I am charged 37 cents for "Transfer Costs". It never really bothered me that they passed off the cost of the postage to the webmaster, but today I looked at the envelopes & they're all stamped 29 cents!

So not only do they pass along the cost of sending you the check, they also skim off the top - LOL

I get a ton of checks form CCBill - they asked me a while back if I wanted to combine all my acocunts, but when they said there was no breakdown on the check stubs as far as account numbers & totals for each, I passed - my thinking is that it'd be easier to look in my bookkeeping & see which accounts are doing good or sucking ass as opposed to logging in all the time.

I got 16 checks in the mail today from CCBill -
My cost to receive them: $5.92
CCBill's cost to send them: $4.64
Profit to CCBill: $1.28

I wonder how many checks they send out each week

I like to do away with getting checks but they want $15 per wire and don't offer any other options.

Hmm,
That sucks They charge me 80 cents as I'm in the UK, but the stamp is for 80 cents, so hell knows why they add some on top to people in their own country?
I get more annoyed being charged cc bill fees, those damn sponsors should pay those!

Since you get separate checks for each program you promote, do you get a separate wire?

Tipping is easy up here - customary tip is 15% & our sales tax is 8%, so just double that & you have your tip

Seriously - the last CCBill account I signed up for had a number of 658090. Now, we know everyone doesn't get a check each week from each account, so let's say that 10% of them got a check last week:

65,809 checks x $0.08 = $5,264.72

Fuck - even if only 1% of the accounts got checks, that's $526.47 - that's a nice chunk of change for us to pay for the privlage of having our checks mailed to us.

Nah all have their own individual numbers - but you must login in using the ummm how you say - biggun - the kingdingaling account - the one that every other one is merged under (that's it - woohoo!) to see the stats for each.

If i'm not mistaken every time you sign up for a proggy that uses cascading there'd be a unique ccbill number underlying (I know that this is the case with ibill).

GG,

I run 90 odd accounts under one number.

..and YES I get ONE cheque,

..and it is combined for all accounts

..and NO it does not breakdown (on the cheque) which accounts made sales.

You need to go to the admin and see who actually made the sales.. and thought interminably slow.. CCBill aff. admin does offer clear stats on each account.

Why is Direct Deposit such a difficult thing to do, in general? I mean in US based sponsors to US based affiliates...

About a month ago we were at dinner with the owner of one of the bigger programs that runs via ccbill - we complained about this transfer fee and he told us to shut up we have enough money. lol

I haven't complained since..but I can see how that adds up with a ton of ccbill checks.

I love direct deposit but think $15 dollars is way too much to pay each time.

Is ccbill the only processor that takes out for postage? it's the only one I've noticed.

Hmm...I wonder if they have "come pick up your check" as an option to save money. CCBill is only 3 miles away from my house.

OMG, this exact same topic has been in the back of my mind for almost a year now. WTF is CCBill doing?? I also get lots of CCBill checks every month and I'm always charged $0.37 for a $0.29 postage stamp.

I wanted to call them, but I figured it wasnt worth my time.
