I think everyone had made their positions very clear on that subject and that thread was going absolutely nowhere.

Jay posted a reason for his absence and everybody responded. If you thought his account of events was inaccurate, then fine..... but how long a thread does it take to play flame table tennis?

You asked what is appropriate discussion? The forum states "General Business Knowledge, Only Business is spoken here." I don't care who is wrong or right - it was sailing into "Off Topic Land" at a rate of knots.

Dude, you had your say about Jay's situation. End of story. No need to keep going on about it. Noone wants to hear it. Jay is a good friend of most of here and we stand behind him.

Back to general business and chit chat as flaming is not what we want going on. Talk business and laugh it up with everyone and I'm sure you'll become friends with many here as well. We're pretty easy to get along with.

Here is one of the rules you agreed to when you signed up. I think it covers everything but, we are writing new rules as we speak. Just so we are clear with everything.

"The owners of GreenguyandJim have the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason."

There were a few things wrong with that thread and closing it wasn't just because of your posts.

I don't mind pissing matches that are business related, but when they are personal like that, it's a different story.

I should have closed it alot sooner. Threads like that contrubute nothing at all to the board.

I'm sorry we feel this way - I'm sure GFY will alow you to post whatever you want on their board

I love this board, it is just the right mix of business and socializing.

I would hate this board to ever become just anouther board of non stop pissing and bullshit.

I know that it would never end up like that, that is why the board has moderators and rules.
