CashOnClick.com gone?
It looks like the CashOnClick.com program is gone. This message was posted at Free Ones 3 weeks ago and none of their sites resolve. There hasn't been an update as promised either. 3 1/2 weeks seems like more than enough time to resolve any server issues. Even if they miraculously got the affiliate program back up and running, any webmasters who had revshare are more than likely to lose all their rebills.

It looks like CashOnClick is back. I just got this email from them. We're back again and better than ever ... blah, blah, blah ...
How about an apology? I'd say it's going to be a long uphill battle for them to get webmasters to promote them again. I know I won't. Quote:

What was happening was the program owners were concentrating on a separate area of the industry and left there EX Affiliate Manager to run everything and handle payments because he claimed to be a NATS professional. As you may remember, CashOnClick used CCBill affiliate program for years and payments were mailed direct from CCBill, when they transitioned to NATS they hired someone they thought was well versed ath NATS to run the program. Turns out he was too well versed, at how to manipulate it. Create dummy affiliates, push traffic and even create phony signups paying $25 per. He would pay those affiliates QUICK and neglect the others. After 4 months all the chargebacks came and the program suffered..... So basiucally what he was doing was he was only paying his mates for sales ! And then 80% of them came back as chargebacks, AFTER the affs were paid in full !
In all he and his mates pocketed about $18.000..... All this went on for just over a year, It went unnoticed because like I said the program owners had no reason at the time to doubt the guy and only found out buy chance that he was scamming both the program and the affiliates outside of his circle of friends... SO NOW .... CashOnClick has employed me (Andy R) to sort this shit out and get the ball rolling again.... ALL AFFILIATES HAVE NOW BEEN PAID !!! Including the ones that DID NOT REACH payout even !!! Hell we cant do any better than that :thumbsup If there is anyone that has not been paid then email me andy AT cashonclick.com And I will make sure you do. REASONS why you may not have been paid is : If your email address on file is not working or dead and your URLs listed are not working or dead, we will NOT BE ABLE TO PAY YOU, so please make sure you have a working URL and EMAIL address.... And lastly may I just say that if I had any doubt about anyone not getting paid this time then I sure as fuck would NOT be working for them... I hope this answers your questions guys and you will consider promoting us again.

CashOnClick - I don't currently have you as a sponsor, and I am aware that companies sometimes have downtime, so that would not turn me away from you. But what has put Cash On Clicks on my list of sponsors never to use is the attitude shown in the first (quoted) message. It is probably no one's fault that your site went down, but the result is that your affiliates are sending clicks to a 404, which won't make any sales so they are loosing money. Your response should have been apologetic, NOT "LOL...whatever"! The line "we ran out of drive space on our RAID array, LOL...whatever!!" roughly translates as "because of a problem at our end you are going to loose money. At best some of you will have to do with out a few luxuries, and at worst some will have problems paying the bills at the end of the month LOL...whatever!!".
So quite frankly my friend, as far as I am concerned, your company can go fuck itself, LOL...whatever!! |

Ecchi : As of the 1st March 2010 the day to day management of the affiliate program and updates is MY RESPONSIBILITY NOT TAYLOR RAIN'S... Past responses and incidents have NOTHING whatsoever to do with me, I hope that is now crystal clear my friend....
Everybody reacts to situations in different ways and that is Taylor's.... To be honest I would much prefer a straight answer, rather than some made up crap that nobody believes anyway... So that is how I intend to go on, If there is a problem with the program or a problem with the sites then you WILL get an honest answer from me and an apology if one is in order... Quote:
