When will this pay off

Guys im just wondering when should expect to see some kind of revenue from making free sites and galleries. Ive been at this for about 2 months now and I have not made a dime. Im getting traffic to my free sites and galleries and im sending traffic to the sponsors but I just cant seem to get any sales. I keep working at this every day though because I enjoy doing it but im really starting to get discouraged and im kind of thinking maybe this just isnt for me. Is this a normal thing that everybody goes through or is it that im just not doing something right?

I've been doing this for 2 months now too. I made $200 my first month, then $500 in November. I detail everything I did along with links to everything I submitted, traffic, conversions, etc... I just put up screenshots yesterday too.

You can make money in porn. I've been working 5-6 hours daily at night, in the mornings, whenever I can... Using chameleon submitting both tgp and freesites. It's working out to only $4/hour give or take, but I'm just starting out. If I double my income, i'll be up to $8/hour, etc...

Soooooo, how many Gals to how many TGP's? and how many FS to how many LL's? and How much traffic to sponsors?

If you're at 0:5000 per sponsor - that's pretty average!

well previously i was using the chameleon software but I found I was better off with a partner account. Here is a sample of one of my recent free sites. http://www.dogzinatub.com/free/fansluckyday/index.html

I generally also submit the galleries separately to pink world (partner account), the hun, and persian kitty also. I was going to get more partner accounts but I cant seem to make any cash to pay for them.

General hardcore is a hard hard sell, dude.

And your selling is too passive - about your only hook is the name of the site and 'free videos'.

Lets see a gallery.

Your traffic sources should be good enough.

As Bill already mentioned, selling general hardcore is not that easy. Also three of the first four ads on your free site are for dating or webcams. You might consider using those types of sites as an alternate ad (like below the enter link on the index page of a free site) and using more niche specific ads as the focus of your pages.

Not trying to be nasty, but have you ever had to sell anything to make a living?
If you want some ideas on how to sell you should join in "On The Bench" Saturday afternoons.
You won't make any money building the kind of stuff you're building now.
Why would anyone buy anything? You don't give anyone a reason.

I try to think of my galleries as flyers or similar promotional media for the sponsor. I try to think of how to grab their attention and what they would think if I were to hand them the gallery/FS main page as a paper form in the street.

The thing I found with partner accounts is you need to have quite a few and submit as many as you can for as long as you're allowed to - it really isn't much fun after a while though.

How many galleries/LL's are you submitting to how many TGP's/LL's a day? I wasn't quite clear in your last post. (forgive me if I missed what you said I am a little dim)

well im just doing one free site and one gallery a day. I only do one because the linklists that actually send traffic only allow one submission. i submit the freesites to about 12 different link lists but im about to start submitting to more. Right now though i average about 10k uniques a day to my domain and its constantly growing. I think i made a good choice by not using chameleon software anymore because i wasnt getting this kind of traffic while using it. Link list owners seem to love hand submissions and having their link on the same page as sites like hoes, penisbot, greenguy etc...

You're getting about 3 times the traffic I am, so I'd have to assume you're not making money for all the reasons mentioned. Honestly, I thought your site and galleries were not that bad. Mine are certainly no better. None of my hardcore has converted yet either. But my fling dating and virtuagirl is converting very well.

I really love chameleon as a tool. I don't think it should be compared on a traffic basis since most of the LL and TGPs are in its database. I do plan on cherry picking some sites and grouping them once I get some more time. For less than $2/day, I can't justify canceling it.

Looks like you've been around since before google! I looked around a couple of your sites, I do see a difference. You write to the surfer a lot and add some personal touches here and there. I've always wanted to promote cam sites, but really didn't know where to start. From examining your sites, I have some feel for the structure and can start developing a strategy.

This thread is really helping me as well. I'm learning a lot. I'm getting the feeling many of the sponsors have no idea how to sell porn, so mimicking their approach could be fruitless.

Well the point I was making about the traffic is that I just think the guys with the link lists and tgp's simply just prefer hand submits. If you actually just really read their rules and I mean read them not just scan over them. Most of them mention that they like to be linked on pages with other well known link lists. Once I started doing that I got fewer rejections and I was listed high on their page.

I agree with you 100%. I'm working towards that same goal of grouping "friends" together. Right now I have 3 recips I always try to group together on a tgp submit (tommy, clitpass, erotictonaughty). I still make a mistake now and again, but I'm only human.

I hope with hard work and a little luck, our recips will be on that short list.

PS, not sure greenguy and penisbot should be grouped together, they seem to have some history.

You are correct about hand subbing your freesites. If you move to custom recips you could bump up the recips from 12 to 16 or even 20 without looking bad. Example That site is a couple yrs old but you should get the idea. This can give a site a few more hits which could be the ones you are looking for

I dont think so. In the acceptance emails that penis bot sends it tells you to submit to link-o-rama also.

When I first switched over yrs back I was worried about declines. I do not believe I have ever been rejected for recips

Wow I didn't even know about that. Those guys arent gonna punish the submitters because of the beef they have with each other though. I have had several free sites listed with both of them with their links on the same page.

I think the important thing is that you don't quit. It use to be MUCH easier to make money in this biz but everyone is giving away the good stuff for free. We are all ruining it for ourselves. If we could all somehow come to an agreement that hardcore should NEVER be given away for free, we would all make a hell of a lot more money. Surfers, especially in this economy, won't buy something they can get for free.

With every site your build and submit, you will get traffic. If you build and submit sites every day, your traffic will grow. With the increased traffic, your odds of getting sales increase as well. It might take a few years to get to a point where you are raking it in, but you need to work your ass off.

Yea Im finally starting to get a small amount of sales now after 3 months. I havnt been making sites everyday like i should but i try to atleast make them 4 days out of the week. Its just hard when you work a day job and most of the time i want to just sleep..lol
