ARS & PayPal
Hello all nice people out there. I am Amber C, Director of Publisher Services at ARS.
I apologize for busting in here with my first post being so long, but I thought some of you need to know what is going on with PayPal. This was posted in the ARS forum by Becky (President/CEO of ARS), but I thought it needed to be posted elsewhere as well: I have bad news about PayPal. They are currently going through all of their accounts and checking for compliance with their acceptable use policy. They came across our account during this process. Because we pay webmasters for sending adult traffic through our network to our advertisers, it has been deemed that we are violating their acceptable use policy. This means that we either stop paying adult webmasters for their adult traffic, or lose our account. Since the former is not an option, we have no choice but to shut our account down and remove PayPal as a means of payment for webmasters. Apparently the fact that we have sent millions of dollars through their network did not matter to them. Nothing I said mattered, it was pretty much remove paypal from anything with adult on it or we will shut your account down. With that said, next week PayPal will not be an option for payment. Anyone that was set up to be paid via PayPal will be paid via standard check. If you would like to choose a different payment method, please email your support rep right away. Also, if you should have any problems with your PayPal payments from last week or this week, please contact your support rep and we will get it taken care of. I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. So any of you ARS webmasters using PayPal, PLEASE contact your account rep immediately to switch your payment method or you will be issued a standard check until you do so. Best, Amber C __________________ |

Yeah Greenguy, it sure does suck. Putting some webmasters in a crunch to figure a new payment option.

The Epassporte option with a electron card will work just as good as paypal if not better for international webmasters.
I only use paypal very little and when I do get money in there they leave my account the same day never trusted those people. |

Martin 007,
I think we are all set with payment options at this time. Thank you for the suggestion though. |

I assume you are in Europe (looking at your whois)
Epassporte is a very easy way to get paid for European webmasters. Many sponsors will send your payout via epassporte and more add it as an option every week. I got my epassporte account thru ARS they send my payments to my epassporte account and then 10 seconds later I can got to any ATM and withdraw the cash in my own currency. You can also use your epassporte account to buy stuff online. To be able to withdraw the cash you need a Visa Electron card you can get from Epassporte for a fee of $35 per year and it works like a Visa card except you can only use it places where you have to enter your pin code and there is no credit on it. For me it means I get my payments much faster, I pay $2 to withdraw cash from an ATM instead of $12-15 to cash a check. If you dependt on Paypal for your payments I would suggest switching to epassporte. If you got more questions let me know and IŽll do my best to answer them |

Great news man ! Im european- from Poland particularly. I went to www.epassporte.com and there are three or more options "personal" "commerce" "commercial" "gift" - im not sure which account should I choose to join (well gift is probably out ) You see Im getting checks now and Im waiting 1 week to get the check and then 4-5 weeks to cash it ... + at one bank the %$#% company called "PJ Morgan" or smth like that wants $75 for cashing each check - thats hillarious ! Lucky there are others that do it much cheaper.... and I allready have a visa electron |

You need a Visa Electron thru epassporte to withdraw from a ATM you canŽt use any Electron card it has to be the one issued by Epassporte.
I looked at the domain you have listed and two of the sponsors you use already pay out via epassporte. I have a list of most of those I know that payout via epassporte in my sig so you can compare the sponsors you already use with that list and see which ones that can send you money via epassporte. |
