Thumbs down Minnesota orders ISPs to blacklist gambling sites

Not directly porn related, but we all know how these lists seem to get other things added to them by administrators.

Also a similar law was stuck down a couple of years ago.

When are these #*~^%* politicians going to learn to at least take a look at the current status of laws before they decide to pass that great piece of legislation to fix some perceived problem.

And we all know how well the great Aussie blacklist works.

The state of Minnesota has handed Internet providers a 7-page blacklist of gambling Web sites that they're supposed to prevent customers from accessing, a move that raises First Amendment and technical concerns.

Next, Minnesota will be asking Google to filter out all searches for words like "freedom" and "democracy."

They've already been compromised in the US by the banks not allowing transfers direct from your account.

drip drip drip. The bucket of tyranny fills up a little bit each day. I wonder whose door they'll kick in next.

Online gambling will corrupt our youth, but church bingo is acceptable. What a bunch of fucking hypocrites!

Reconsidering...

I was considering placing gambling site ads on my TGP website I just setup (my first). Now, I am reconsidering it.
