Thanks all for the advise. It was more just to vent than anything, but it really chaps my ars when you find a good one, get it installed, tweak it, then find some rogue code that asks for money to unlock other things.
I don't mind paying at all, but when its advertised as FREE, they should mention that upfront. Thanks helix for the links, found some interesting ones i'll be checking out
