Using rel ="nofollow" on sponsor links ?

Using rel ="nofollow" on sponsor links on freesites ?
Is it a good idea ?
It should (very slightly) increase PR given back to LLs.
And sponsors pay for clicks and conversions not for PR.

What do you think ?

Well you know boys, a nuclear reactor is a lot like women. You just have to read the manual and press the right button

Aw, Dad, you've done a lot of great things, but you're a very old man, and old people are useless

I would personally use rel="nofollow" on any link that goes to a sponsor unless of course there paying you for advertising. Otherwise your just wasting your pr.

Guys(and gals) come on....!

No one ever got rich and successful off "no follow" links....
Apply your time sensibly... following so called SEO theories just sucks up your valuable time.

I would never use 'nofollow' links on a free site/avs site/gallerys etc

I do not use nofollow on my free sites, I only use it on the hub (my site root)

OK i understand , but what if all freesite/gallery makers started to do it ?
You know - "power of numbers".
I think if 50000 freesites would give their LLs just 5% more PR that would possibly boost LLs PR by 1 point and this would be a good thing for everyone in the "network of links" IMHO.
