idealbandwidth.com server outages
http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=549369
While this current situation is obviously not in their control; this is now the 6th time in 8 months, that my server will be down for more then 2 hours. That is not acceptable as far as I am concerned, and it is certainly time to make a change. Fortunately I do not have my main sites with them, but I do have a lot of my hosted stuff with them. Can anyone else who uses them voice their experiences with them. They have told me that I have just had "bad luck" with my box .....

No experience with them here, but it sure does suck to be down that much
I haven't really heard many complaints about them though, so perhaps it is just a bad run That said, if I were in your shoes...I'd be looking to get outta Dodge too. |

idealbandwidth resells alphared/orangefiber, so the link to WHT about their outages directly affects idealbandwidth as well. from what i read, the outage is due to loss of power due to flooding. i don't know why back-up generators did not kick in immediately though.
