Ramster, I hated E***r. I mean, how many times was he told about something and he just dropped the ball? Over and over again for the past few seasons. Is that who you are talking about?

C Thomas Howell is dirty! I'm thinking that he's in with Peter Weller.

Jim, true. He wasn't a very good employee/listener.

Greenguy, me too. Something is up there.

I was just thinking of the poor planning of having rooms that seal for biohazards and yet, according to the previews, there is no way to clear up the gas outside the sealed rooms. I guess these people were just supposed to seal themselves in and die of thirst and hunger

Good point Jim. And if there is a seal like that shouldn't there be an escape route for them? An exit somehow.

Also I think Jack's daughter Kim is hot as hell but I don't like the new long hair.

Or, these sealed rooms might have gas masks tucked away somewhere. But no, they just seal and people are left for themselves.

Hey, did Rudy get killed? I know Robocop was in a sealed room but, what about Rudy?

Jim - I agree, and using seals that can be detioriated by the toxins/hazards is not the smartest either. I guess that adds the note of realism, seeing how many things are fucked up in reality.

GG/Ramster - Absolutely, no way they'd bring in a name/face that well-known unless there was gonna be something wrong with him.

Anyone else sorry to see that pretty brunette at CTU get killed by the terrorist? I thought she brought some nice eye-candy to the room.

I really like the 2-hour format. Maybe the show can evolve into a new show called "48" and they can all be 2 hours long.

Yah and why didn't they know from the get go which room was a safety room? Did they not ever have drills or something?

Chloe had to run a computer program on where the gas was released etc etc... Seems to me they should've had a program where she hit a button and the rooms went into action and people could immediately see a safety room... instead of waiting for her to do that...

And no gas masks? That's a high tech office for ya.... Even airplanes have masks drop from the ceiling LOL

Call me a sap, but I felt bad when he got locked out. Sure he made a few mistakes, but who doesn't. And he was the least duplicitous character on the show.

Now would I want to party with him, Hell no...but I still felt bad.

If he acted on what the girl told him about the ventilation system, the container would have been found in time and none of this would happen. He has done a lot of stupid things saying, "I don't have time for this". Goodbye Edgar

I would agree... it would explain why he's so close to Kim (as most therapists are supposed to keep their distance to maintain their objectivity)... he seems like a scumbag!!

As for Edgar, that "I don't have time for it" really was the cause of his demise and the reason for the release of the toxin...

And what's with CTU? All the hallways and rooms are so dimly lit.. that's just not typical for gov't offices.. if anything, they are burning full lighting 24 hrs a day!!

Or, how about that "Executive Keycard" that got the guy into CTU. A quick swipe, swap faces and it worked They monitor everything except a keycard that is issued to someone already there and yet gets used to gain access.

Yah I see more holes in this season's storyline...

Also, why didn't they confiscate Lynn's card when they put him in "holding?" Don't they usually take all that stuff from people.. seems to me that they did with Jack...

I forgot to say that on the S4 DVDs one of the directors said that Pres Logan was like "a Richard Nixon/Don Knotts character" LOLOL

I can usually suspend disbelief but this has more holes than colander.

On another note...I watched The Unit last night. That was pretty good.

Jim --> "The Unit"

I didn't know it was a show David Mamet was involved with until I watched the pilot episode. I hope he does more writing for the continuing episodes.

I really have disliked this President and tonight's episode confirmed he is an asshole... and responsible for the murder of David Palmer (of course, he rose again on The Unit )
