Simple BBQ sauce recipe
On the stove, cook up 1 Stick Butter, 1 cup Worchesshire Sauce, Juice of 2 Lemons and lemons cut in half
Salt Pepper After 15 mins of cooking, strain into bowl. Slather on chicken while grilling. This is the best white bbq sauce I have ever had. And my family loves it. Enjoy... |

The recipe is delicious. Chicken is still juicy while the skin is blackened. This is my own recipe that I invented.

That is sweet. I love bbq as well. Do you have a decent recipe for a red sauce? I have searched and searched and can't find anything I like. |

Jim- I'm working on something now. I have a rub that I put together that I want to base my sauce on. It's gonna be a KC style(where I learned how to BBQ) sauce, which means sweet and smokey, probably with some celery seed. In the meantime try this out:
Struttin' Sauce Recipe 1 tb Oil, preferably canola 1 Medium onion, chopped 2 Cloves garlic, minced 1 c Tomato puree 3/4 c Cider vinegar 3/4 c Water 6 tb Brown sugar 6 tb Chili powder 1/4 c Tomato paste 3 tb Worcestershire sauce 3 ts Celery salt 1 tb Prepared yellow mustard 1 tb Fresh ground black pepper 1 tb Corn syrup 1 tb Pure liquid hickory smoke 3/4 c Water In a saucepan, warm the oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until they are softened, about 5 minutes. Mix in the remaining ingredients, reduce the heat to low, and cook the mixture until it thickens, approximately 30 minutes. Stir frequently. If the consistency is thicker than you prefer, add a little water. Use the sauce warm or chilled. It keeps, refrigerated, for a couple of weeks. It's based on Gates' famous sauce. |

Oh on a side note to anyone that has never had the chance to try one before, now is the perfect time for white nectarines from california. Don't let the prices of them scare you too bad, this is about the most amazing fruit you'll ever taste! Just make sure you get white nectarines because the regular ones are nothing like them.

I love grilling garlic onions. I use big onions- slice of the top and fill them with olive oil(good olive oil of course)- put them on the grill when you start grilling and let them roast for very long.
