CIA Director Says Torture Tapes Destroyed
"A day after CIA Director Gen. Michael Hayden told agency employees the [video] tapes [that documented the harsh 2002 interrogations of two alleged terrorists] were destroyed in 2005, members of Congress, human rights groups and lawyers for accused terrorists said the tapes may have been key evidence that the U.S. government had illegally authorized torture."

 About torture, it's too bad Dubya doesn't have the same slogan Truman did. "The buck stops here", rather than "Nobody is responsible, the buck stops nowhere, and if we run out, we'll just print more."
