SuperBowl Party Contest!
 Seeing as the price of Super Bowl tickets is pretty much outrageous (we saw one place asking $1000 for a Tailgate ticket), this years contest will be a little different. This year, we will fly the winner into Buffalo, NY for a private Super Bowl party at Greenguy's house on February 6th 2005!

Selecting content for your adult website

Many adult websites purchase exclusive content or shoot their own. The rest of us purchase content from content providers. When purchasing content from content providers, there are a few things that you should look out for.

Select content that is fresh and not too overused or outdated.
While the more mainstream content providers have great content, sometimes it's just overused. Surf the net and just keep an eye out for photo shoots that keep coming up, especially in tours. If you really love that photo shoot and have to have it, keep it out of your tour pages and inside the members area or tgp galleries. If visitors keep seeing the same thing over and over again, they are not going to join your website because of it. On the other hand, try to stay away from photo shoots that look too outdated. Just like polyester, some things are better left in the past.

Models may be attractive to you but might not be attractive to someone else. If you don't believe this one, ask some of your buddies what their perfect person is like. Nine times out of ten, it's going to be the complete opposite of what you are attracted to. Keep this in mind when you are selecting content. What you may find as unattractive can be someone else's dream date.

Balance your content
Remember to keep your content both racially and gender balanced. All kinds of people join websites and some of them share the content with their lovers and friends. Try to have a little something for everyone. Unless you have a very specific niche, try to keep the content of your website as balanced as possible.

Pinch pennies if you need to
If budget is an issue, select a few cheaper photo shoots to use as filler content. Keep quality in mind! You don't want your visitors to leave because you have bad content. If you need to purchase cheap content, try to select the best quality you possibly can. It doesn't hurt to purchase some high quality content to keep your website as good of a quality as possible.

Check your content!
Most content is already cleaned up for you, but sometimes you get a photo shoot that is just plain dirty or with horrible color. If you are a webmaster, you should know a little about photo editing. It may be a pain in the neck and it may take a little extra time, but going the distance and cleaning up your content will help keep your visitors happy. Sometimes you will also get outtakes mixed in with the photo shoots. Use your best judgment, but if you see a blurry picture or a model that just doesn't look up to par with a few photos, take them out. You wouldn't want to keep any blurry pictures for your photo album. Your visitors feel the same way.

I hope these tips help out. There is a lot of great (and horrible) content out there... use it wisely!
