Is Poker Dead?
We have recently been told by ChoicePoker that they need to start charging us a minimum of $1000/Month for us to continue our tournaments. At first, Greenguy and I thought about it and then it hit me. They are getting Free Traffic and Webmasters playing with Real Money from our tournaments. And now they want us to pay them for that?
To me, asking us to pay is ass backwards. Shouldn't we be paid to send this program our webmasters? Every other Poker Program has an affiliate program. Why would ChoicePoker suddenly decide after weeks of free tournaments to start charging all the resource sites? Something smells a lot like fish with this story.
This is like any other affiliate program asking you to pay them to send them your traffic. It just makes no sense at all.
Since ChoicePoker made the decision to start charging webmaster resources to send them traffic, Poker Affiliate Programs have been coming out of the woodwork offering to host our tournaments and even give us an affiliate code. Isn't that the way it really should be?
So, don't worry friends...we WILL be playing poker again very soon :)
Have a Good Day
