NON ADULT BLOG: Movie oriented bloggy thing needs...

Well, it needs some links, and it also needs some contributions.

I will exchange links with any non-adult oriented site, hardlink, excepting sites that are either just reseller pages or promote things that are shady. I prefer blog style sites, but I will link with almost anything.

Second: I am looking for contributors. If you run a movie blog with reviews or news, drop me a PM and I will be glad to work something out with you.

If you see a fair number of movies (preferably current run) and write some ort of (non-rude) reviews, I can also trade space for an on story byline link to either your blog or any other non-adult site you run (subject to same rules as the first part).

RA: LJ has a community for movie reviews.. you might get some trades by cross posting or something with them. I know google spiders over there frequently..

I never trade links with blogs running the default theme. Quite simply, it shows a lack of that "spark" that shows me you at least care to the point of actually involving your time to go through the about 5000 themes that are out there, finding one, and modifying it slightly to make it your own, giving your site personality and interest.

I also don't tend to trade if I can easily find "Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!" on the front page. Worse if I find that there are posts made on the site that predate this "sample post".

Please! Take the time to make your blog your own, make sure it has real AND complete content (no half borrowed stories with no links and no completion) and show me that it is actually somewhat active (even 1 addition a week is good... )

Docholly: Advertising is a longer term concept. Right now I am working on format and concept, trying to come up with the best way to present the content (in a legal manner, without breaking the RSS rules that everyone seems to have) and google adsense / adwords type stuff is a good quick and dirty way to measure what is going on.

Getting some extra links and stuff will help out... Anyone?
