ben and jerry's icecream
i am trying to find out how much a 500ml can cost in usa of ben and jerry's icecream, can someone tell me that?

That which does not kill us, will try, try again.

Well, 500ml is about a pint (US liquid measure), and Ben and Jerry's sells 6 pints for $54.95 via mail order. So taking 1/6 of $54.95 gives us about $9.16 per pint delivered here.
Hope that helps. Nearest Ben and Jerry's to here is 100 mile roundtrip so I can't give you the 'walk-in' price. P.S. I only knew the milliliter conversion because I had to look it up for my whale cock blog post yesterday.

Stu, get an ice cream maker machine for home use that does it all for you, and a copy of the Ben and Jerry's recipe book. That's worked for me!

(Tommy, if they raised taxes on gas to where it would be close to $10 a gallon, you'd really get to see something then.. |shocking| )

I dont know if it would be as much fun if the raise in price came from taxes I would actually love to see like a dollar a gallon tax on gas for other reasons see sort of part of the kick i get out of it is because i know it comes from bushs failed forgin policy AND thhis and cheneys loyalties to the oil industry see all the idiots that voted for him really did this to themselves I work at home and I make decent money so i dont give a fuck if gas cost 50 bucks a gallon :-) ya know when i was 16 or so i had a job pumping gas and the owner was a lazy cocksucker so after a few years i was just about running the place I dont remember what gas was back then but we made 27 cents a gallon today.... a gas station makes like 10 cents a gallon if you think about that, its like the worst markup for any buisness spend 3 bucks make 10 cents 10 cents the corner deli makes four times that on a cup of coffee

Tommy -
I agree with you on the prices. However, the mark up on gas is really low 3-5% but check out the snacks Just another loss leader in disguise. Stuveltje - Ice cream is simple to make at home, and way more fun to flavor. We don't have the auto chill model, we have to chill the bowl in the freezer kind. I can't remember but about $40 US. The first 4-6 batches will probably suck... don't worry about it, if you can cook, you'll figure out easily how to tailor it to your family. A quart of vanilla/bacon lasted about 10 minutes. (and no, I had nothing to do with that one) Hey, who the heck knows what kids will eat!

the way i see it is gas costs the government a lot of money pollution, roads and bridges, Medical costs, security just think of what it costs to put a aircraft carrier off an Arabic coast this is anther thing with gas when oil goes up or if supplies get VERY short the oil companies have the American military as a bargaining tool this country will go to war to protect its supply of oil I think that warrants a huge tax no other industry has the government helping them negotiate their costs

Funny thing about Ben and Jerrys ice cream they were so anti corporate when they started. At those prices I would think the $$ got to them. God how much is it these days for a cow, sugar, and ice. Ice cream is basiclly all the same, ask a kid if they want good humor or B&J and most wont really care as long as they are getting it.

Just to make Tommy smile, we pay about 5.5 USD a gallon here. The Netherlands and UK are even worse.

Didn't Nostradamus say something about the antichrist being scheduled to arrive when U.S. gas prices hit 6.66 ?

Still love getting the "chunky monkey" from B&J. Now doesn't that sound porn related
While reading this thread our local news station just stated that Exxon just released their 2nd qtr profit of 10+ billion, the second highest return for a publicly traded company. Who has the number 1 spot? Exxon has that one as well. |
