Arranging recips on mirrors
Assuming you do mirrors, do you place your high volume recips on one mirror, or do you spread them out among the different mirrors?

i use my index page for the sites that only accept index pages as well as some of the higher ranking sites
then on the mirror pages i spread them out with high ranking sites to medium ranking sites in hopes that everyone gets some traffic.

All my mirrors are on index pages, so I don't have to worry about that. I'm am going to scatter some of the high traffic sites out among the mirrors and see what happens. |

I find that some LL, not all get really pissy about being put with lesser known lists. Bottom line is and will always be the same, if they dont want to list it they will not

Well you know boys, a nuclear reactor is a lot like women. You just have to read the manual and press the right button

It seems like it would be better to spread out your recips between high and low traffic LL so everybody would get some traffic. That way you may get listed more instead of sticking all the low traffic ones on one page and all the the high traffic LL on the other. But I can't say for sure if thats the best way because I haven't done much mirroring yet. That's just my opinion.

Exactly my point they get pissy about it - truth is its better to keep em grouped anyhow if you want a longer life spam from your free site IMHO

just an after thought
you can always niche you FS recips For example: If you make a stockings site then group all you guys with 'Lingerie' together and the ones with 'Stockings' together as apposed to having a mix of stockings, nylons & lingerie in the recips - makes the pages more relevant too |

I dont have any scientific proof though looking back over my submition patterns I see certain methods seem to deliver results over a longer period with search results.
I did put effort into grouping sites though it was not based on traffic but by niche. |

That'll teach you to leave your sister unattended.....

A little of both - I tend to group a few of the bigger ones together and throw a few of my friends' LL's in with them.
Then there a few that don't want more than 16 recips on the page so they get grouped together by default. I also have my teen-only recips on one table in case the site I'm submitting is not a teen site - then I can drop that one table and not have to re-arrange the entire table structure. |
