Create a POV website
Hello,
Anyone here have experience creating a POV website and being the male talent at the same time? I want to do this. However, I saw somewhere online that it is illegal to shoot POV video yourself. I contacted some agencies to book a chick. They want to see my "work" and references. Since I am new to this, I don't have either. How did you guys got past this first hurdle when you were starting? It is not illegal to shoot POV yourself, I have bought many POV scenes before. Agencies will likely want to know who you are before they send some girl over that's for sure so not sure what to tell you there.

I'm not a lawyer, so these are just my personal thoughts. If you need legal advice, get a lawyer.
Depending on where you live, it's possible that producing a POV video may be considered prostitution (i.e. you are paying someone to have sex with you). There may be a loophole if you are paying for an actress and can document your activity as video production. |

there are easy ways to get talent when you are just starting out. check out the adult services section on craigslist. register at a couple adult job boards and you'll find new talent. look for girls locally and shoot some amateur stuff to start. The more you shoot, the easier it will get.

Most agencies warn models, especially new models, beware of POV shoots because they just may be a guy trying to get laid.
The agencies here in South Florida I deal with wanted samples of work if they had not worked with me before. One even had me come and shoot a scene at their location just to see if I was "legit". An agency I deal with a lot now, I just made an appointment to meet with them and spent the weekend hanging out at his house and partying in Miami. Once they see you are trying to start a legitimate adult biz...they usually are very receptive to you. Now if you are creepy, sleazy or come off as an idiot it may not be an easy road. But once you're in and shooting regularly, they will call you when they have a new girl or at least my agency does. Craven |

Just like others have said, we are not lawyers but I have shot a ton of pov titles for my content sales site with no problems you just need to supply the same 2257 information about yourself as you would the models themselves.
You will have the problem of models thinking your just out to get laid but if you present yourself with class and get a few under your belt and have your site up and running you will have better credentials to present when you try to hire a model for a POV scene. I now have models sending other models to me. Good luck with your venture. AdultContentMan www.adultcontentproductions.com |

Thank you!
I want to thank the people who offered advice. It is very helpful. I am going to look in craigslist. What adult job boards are good for amateur talent? I am going to shoot with some amateur girls to build my credibility before approaching the model agencies.
Thanks, Dave |
