Anyone had any success getting paid from affiliate programs when below the min. threshold?

Since I don't work in adult anymore, I've been trying to get some affiliate accounts paid out with between $40 - 198 USD, when all minimum payments seem to be $200.

I have had a great reply from DogFart who were happy to send me a check. Winston from TripleXCash said he'd help me but has since not responded to any emails.

Does anyone have any tips for getting paid out the small amounts of money owed from affiliate programs that you will likely never promote again?

I was thinking of saying something like "I have a new plan in place that will generate us both millions of dollars in revenue, all you need do is pay me what you owe me first". But, I'm not really that kind of person. I wouldn't involve people who treat me like shit unless I mention money with any potential income earner. Also, it's a lie, but maybe there's a better way to get paid from these programs.

Any ideas?

Good luck. I am having problems being paid by those that are well above their limits. Many give me the "somebody else screwed up, not my fault, will pay you tomorrow"-bullshit.

I had my small rant few months ago at the GFY about one sponsor who was really avoiding me for almost a year. The finale was that they finally paid me what was little below minimum but if I had to go through this again ... , hmmm I don't know.

Very often going public is the last thing you want, but if somebody is quitting the business, then there is no other way sometimes.

I've been trying for years......

Here are my current stats.
104 different programs that owe me money, which are all under the minimum. ($4432.33)

29 programs I have collected money from, under the minimum ($2757.00)

27 scumbag programs that I contacted asking for the money, who never paid and have since closed. $1695.00)

While going through 100's and 100's of these affiliate programs I had joined over the past 17 years, I also came across minimums that were set too high, some tax forms that were not submitted and some that still had Epassporte selected and couldn't be paid. I collected around $3,000 from them after making changes myself.

I think you are doing just fine.

I usually send a polite message stating my case - I have removed your links, do not plan to ever promote your program again and would appreciate a check cut for what ever is on the books. Never had a problem to date.

I've helped a few people out.. in some cases I wasnt able to help them. Rules are rules and when people signup and agree to the terms, there's not much I can do. Dont shoot the messenger

I've been under the minimum on a few programs myself and I just move on.

While on this subject, anyone have info on 'sensational cash'? The've been holding my payouts for over 8 months, not responding to e-mails.

I know rules are rules, if it takes me being terminated from the affiliate program in order to get paid, I'm happy with that. I am no longer promoting anything anyway, there may be a few links still lingering on the interwebs, but since I'm so generous, you can keep the click or 2 that may be headed your way for free!
