The Bitch thinks it's a fake version of Survivor, so she watched that Dr Phil special & then we watched CSI: NY - which was ok.

I watched LOST. It was ok, kept my interest, but it seems to be an invisible entity that has something to do with the overweight yellow labrador retriever.

It reminds me of the Arnold S. movie with the invisible whatever thingy in the jungle, didn't watch whole movie, can't remember the name. It's also like the Lost World where they're on earth, but at a different time. Maybe they went through some kind of time warp.

The bald guy that sits on the beach by himself that looks like the guy who played Ghandi looks suspicious. I think he has something to do with the invisible force.

I'll probably watch at least one more episode to see if it goes anywhere.

CSI New York - hum, I kept waiting for the CSI Miami music to start playing and Forest Gump to start calling out Lieutenant Dan's name. Didn't really hold my interest for the first 5 minutes so I turned it off. Turned it back on the last 15 minutes, and still didn't catch my attention.

Should have made some . Maybe I would have like it more!

My first guess was dinosaurs, but they didn’t eat the pilot. So I’m thinking something along the live of Stephen King as well.

Still it was pretty interesting. I plan on staying with it until I at least know what it was, and then decide how hooky it is and decide from there.

At least it was a bit different frm the normal dribble they produce.

More along the lines of a TV Movie than series.

I don't think they'll show the monster for a long while- if they are smart.

Like Jaws we can make it up in our head and make it the scariest thing possible- until we see it.

Once we see it...we can judge whether it's scary or not.

I was thinking like a T-Rex sorta thing.

It must be tall enough to pick the pilot up from the cockpit and spit him back onto the trees.

I was glad they didn't show some CGI shit and nobody got a good look at it.

The yellow lab let's ya know there are people already there. I'm bettin' they are not shiny happy people.

Seems like something that would go for maybe 4 shows though...how they can milk it for a series I dunno.

Will watch and see though.

The monster thing has the exact same sound as the invisible monster from Forbidden Planet. So, that's what it is

Book 7? Geez I am way behind. I think I was up to book 4 when he last published. Now I have to re-read them all over again to remember what they were about!
What book are they up to in Hyperion any idea?

I got sucked into it by the commercials.

Did anyone notice that it's all pretty people? I guess all the normal people were in the back-end that broke away first.

Actually, I think the dog was in the hold and escaped. They have all season to drag it out.

There's also something up with the rocker guy. (Lord of the Rings guy.)

Much better than watching that bloody bachelor crap!

actually statistics show that if one is going to survive a crash, the most common area for survivors to be is the last 3 or 4 rows of coach. In my "happy booker" days, i used to clock between 300K-400K miles per year.. 340 days.. these are the kind of things that are important to know.

We started watching it since there was nothing else of interest during that time slot. I liked it since it was different. Then along came some 'beast' that could knock down trees in the jungle and I was thinking, oh great, a fucking soap opera with dinosaurs. I was glad to see that it appears to be some sort of huge polar bear that is menacing them - so far, and not Godzilla. They seem to teach you the story of one individual during each episode, so we are just beginning to get some background now. Gotta love the old guy. He's scary and oh so cool at the same time.

I like the show. It keeps you guessing. They threw in a few things - the mysterious man in the black suit and the fact that the woman thinks her husband is still alive in another part of the plane that is lost. Also, the doctor doesn't have bedside manner and doesn't like to show his human side.

Did they go through a time warp or something to make the bald guy's legs work? I think he's kind of possessed now since he got close to the monster and something has gone into his body.

Well, I'll watch next week again.
