Alive and well in Pensacola

Just got power and cable back. We ran off of the generator for 2 days. I lost 48 ft of privacy fence. Snapped the 4x8s right in two at ground level. :shocking: Our house and rentals faired real well. I had some damage to the roof flashing on one rental, but nothing major. Storm came a shore just a tad east of us and when the eye wall rotated over our way we had about 90mph winds. There is alot of damage here but nothing like IVAN. The other side of Escambia Bay got hit the hardest. We grilled venison the last 2 days so I wouldnt say we suffered real bad. Gulf Power did a great job getting the power back on this fast. Even though we got the west side of the eye I expected to be powerless at least a week. Everyone is debating keeping the boards up in the neighborhood because there is another Tropical Storm already. Thanks for all the emails and well wishers.
