Arrow Time to Say Goodbye - I'm Stepping Down From JaYMan Cash & That One Program

Cliffnotes: AFter Nearly 6 Years, Effective June 30th, 2011, I will no longer be the affiliate manager for either JaYMan Cash or That One Program.

The Unabridged Version:

Back in 2004, on GG&J, I made a smart ass post to 3xTom in a thread where people were sucking his epenis in an attempt to get Pichunter accounts. I had never spoken to him prior to that, and not only did it get me a coveted Pichunter account, it was the beginning spark of a friendship.

We kept in contact for awhile after that, with me just stopping by to shoot the shit in his Qbicle now and then, or to leave him a ~hug~. Time is really slippery with me, after so many years online, but it seems that it was a few months later that he made the announcement on the Krawl forum that he, in conjunction with a couple of partners, was opening a paysite, and that people might want to check it out.

So I did, just out of idle curiousity. Traditional porn never has been my thing, and I had stuck to selling things that I had a passion for. But this was my new friend's site, so I decided to give it a whirl.

That paysite was Raven Riley, and opened under the CCBill program of Raven Riley Cash. I got onboard their affiliate train within 2 weeks of it pulling out of the station. Needless to say...and anyone who was an early affiliate can attest to that fact...it was a very, very lucrative train to have caught a ride on.

I was generally in the Top 10 rankings in terms of sales, and I had continued to be friends with Tom. When the decision was made to add more sites, change the program name to JaYMan Cash, and switch to NATS, the principles decided that an affiliate manager was needed. Tom asked me to take the position. I was hesitant to do so. I liked being able to do my own thing, and was not...and am still really not...known in the industry. I knew I was not going to be an asset in the sense of what a female affiliate manager meant in many cases at that point in time. I was not young and cute, and I had no interest in spending my time flirting, hoping to get someone to send traffic. I didn't...and don't...care about going to shows, or being a bro-ette. I just wanted to make money.

But Tom wanted me anyway. So after agreeing that the position would be part time, with me always free to do my own stuff as well, I accepted the job on September 12th, 2005.

And what a ride it has been. I think that Internet years are like dog years, so almost 6 years with the same company is like a hundred or something. ~lol~ During that time, Tom and Tracy became to be far, far, far more to me than simply people I contracted with. We've been through hell and back together, and that circle will always remain unbroken. I've been at their house for family gatherings, shopped with Miss Tracy, got to shoot some of our girls, worked on the set during the filming of Succubus, had them take care of me when I got sick during a visit, made Tom his favorite cake, played Putt Putt, laughed with their kids, had movie nights, got a Vegas tour...so many memories that transcend just being people who I worked for. Two in particular stand out...one being that after surgery, outside of my children, Miss Tracy was the first person I contacted to let her know that I was okay. The second is that during a vaction that our families took together to a lake cabin rental in Tennessee, my oldest son and daughter-in-law got engaged.

In short, Tom and Tracy are my family. Families aren't biological. They are people who love you, who want the best for you, who are there for you. Those words define Tracy and Tom for me.

During my time with the companies, I have enjoyed working with all our affiliates. I have tried to give you all good customer service, and to be a good representative for Tom throughout the industry. Some of you I have gotten to know better than others, and it has indeed been my pleasure to do so. I wish each of you the very best of luck, and as always, thank you for the traffic that you send to the programs.

The last year has been one that has held a great deal of personal loss and upheaval for me. I am one at one of those points in life where I am deciding where I want to go from here. So I have come to the difficult decision that it is in the best interest of the affiliates, the programs, Tom and Tracy, and myself, to step down. I have never been "just" an affiliate manager. I don't believe that I will totally leave adult, but I don't know that right now. I don't know exactly what I am doing. But I do know this...in terms of what I am currently doing, I need a break to re-group, clear my head, and figure out the next chapter.

To all our affiliates...thank you for allowing me to serve you over the years.

To my buddy Jonny...be very, very proud of all the skills you have taught yourself, and the excellent work that you do. Your determination and work ethic will take you far in anything you chose do to in life. JMC/TOP are lucky to have you, and I'm glad to have gotten to know you on this part of my journey.

To Tom and Tracy...love you...always.

~hugssssssssss~

It's good to read you enjoyed your years with the program(s) and made some good friends there. There comes a time in everyone's life to move on to something new. I guess this is your time. Good luck to whatever you will be doing next.

Thank you, everyone.

Cleo, I don't know. I'm going to continue with affiliate work, both mainstream and adult for awhile, and figure it out.
