Can anyone help me

Hey I have a compaq but for some reason the harddrive will not come on i have put new fans in it thought maybe that was it but nothing..... when i put the harddrive in the other pc i cn fell it running but will not come on ....
it has wins xp on it also alll my info for the web site alll the good stuff i need sucks to be me

Really need more info than that. It could be lots of things, low on power, loose (or broken) cable, dead HD, etc, etc. Can you post more details.

When you say "i cn fell it running" do you mean you touched it while it was running? You were earthed to prevent static weren't you? If you are poking about inside the computer without earthing yourself (eg by wiring yourself to a water pipe) you have probably killed the hard drive, and possibly other stuff inside your computer.

you ask if i was You were earthed to prevent static weren't you? yes i was .
but agina it was the mother board .....
