Anybody know what program this is?

Or what sites they run?

TJ Web Productions got spanked today for a fine from the FTC for $465,000. What is interesting about this latest fine is that fact that the FTC is holding the company responsible for its affiliates doing the spamming.

Pretty interesting now sponsors are held responsible for "rougue affiliates".

I have a vague memory of a similar penalty for a couple of other sponsors about 2 years ago. That's when sponsors started adding 'no email promos of any kind' to their Terms.

That is sad. No matter how much a program polices a program, they can't stop all spammers.

This is actually the resolution of a case that began in July of 2005, which is probably that "vague memory" I mentioned above.

Aw, Dad, you've done a lot of great things, but you're a very old man, and old people are useless

Programs being held responsible for affiliate spam is nothing new. That batch of sponsors listed in a group from about a year ago? Most of those were all due to affiliates spamming.
