Cookies?
Hi. I recently built this freesite:
http://www.xxx-bisexual-porn.com/orgy/extreme-2/ Someone mentioned that the site tried to set a cookie. Here's a pic that was sent to me. http://www.xxx-bisexual-porn.com/org...e-2/cookie.jpg I didn't add any cookies to the freesite, and I don't see any in the source code. I tried to find info on the cookie using Firefox's Web Developer plugin, but it didn't locate any cookies. Is anyone else getting this cookie? Anyone know why it's appearing? And how do I prevent it from happening? I don't know anything about cookies, so I'd appreciate any info. Thanks for all the help. Dave |

The cookies are being set from something in your htaccess file.
Is this your hosting? |

Hi Cleo.
It's virtual hosting. Since I only promote one program with this domain, my htaccess file sends 404/403 to the sponsor (orgycash). Maybe that's where the cookie's coming from. |

If one of your pages has a broken image or something that would cause a 404 which would kick-in your htaccess call but just about all your pages set cookies so something is screwed up.
Set your browser to ask for each cookie and start trouble shooting. |

Hi Cleo. I set Firefox to ask for cookies, but it didn't detect any cookies on the freesite. It does detect cookies when clicking through to the sponsor.
I might have fixed the problem. I didn't have a favicon.ico on that domain. Sometimes that can give a 404 error, which would bring up the sponsor's link and cookies. I just added a favicon. Could you let me know if the cookies are still appearing. Thanks. |
