Angry How F*cking Stupid Can You Get??

Those that know me know I give people the benefit of the doubt unless and until they give me a reason otherwise.

On 12/26/04 someone submitted a pretty decent gallery to my new TGP and due to coding errors, their sponsor links did not appear to be clickable. The anchor tags were outside the tables rather than inside the table cells...

Rather than blindly decline the gallery I sent them an email pointing out the issue and actually changed the code to show them how it should be.

Never got an acknowledement, a thank you, nothing... fine I can live with that. Now today 12/30/04 I get the same gallery, on the same domain with the same problem - submitted using a different nick and email.

Obviously this idiot is not the fullest diaper at the day care...

They are in good company now with the 1300+ domains already on my blacklist....

i hear ya

alot of those guys just submit with an auto submitter using an email that they never EVER check - except with an email confirmer program. and most of them never even bother to double check the galleries they build before submitting. ive tried to give constructive criticism (spelling?) before a couple times too and gotten the same results as you i dont even bother anymore.

I hear you... (not that it was me - LOL)

Fortunately I'm only taking galleries from password submitters, and occasionally I send out an email pointing out broken links or the like (and skip the gallery until the next day), and I must say that over ½ of these webmasters reply and thank me, and many more at least fix their problems (though: I'm usually telling them something along the line of "other sites would blacklist for this straight away").

Its too bad when you do similar things with names you are familiar with from boards like mine and this one. Even many of them apparently don't read their emails or the rules for that matter.

For example, one GG&Jim member sent me a gallery with Tiffany Teen content (no nudity). My rules specifically state:

11) No Tiffany Teen, Princess BluEyez or similar content that has no nudity.

Having been somewhat familiar with their name I sent them an email on it as a reminder rather than ban them. What I got was 2 more galleries with Tiffany Teen on them.

There are some real losers out there - and they would be the same type to bitch about sponsor conversions, TGP's not giving partner accounts, rules, etc...

These are the same people that are destined to become nothing more than a statistic in the future.

Sorry, Netpiddler, to ask in public (and for being so un-informed), what is your TGP site?

I would like to expand my submission list

Please forgive me if I am asking a stupid question.

But why is that a lot of TGP sites do not except auto submissions, and even ban you if they find out you do?

Have you ever run a TGP?
So many cheaters, so many people submitting to wrong category, even more with a bad description or shitty images...
Autosubmitter = same problems 10 fold, no: 50 fold!

Hi GeorgeTH, yes you're certainly right about the wrong categories and descriptions, which I actaully knew but just wanted to see if there where any other reasons.

Actually I see it when I use "Human Emulator" part of Russian Submitter, a program that fills the form, but I have to verify, and many times correct information before clicking the submit button.

If someone is a pro at TGPing, you'd never know they are using a submitter. But so many newbies out there go in thinking that every TGP wants the same length and type of description and all treat categories the same way. There are a lot of site specific rules that submitters need to read. If people don't mind being rejected, they should just go ahead and submit to everyone on auto. I have no problem with assissted submitters. Auto mode on anything is dangerous.

I absolutely don't mind if people submit to me using an autosubmitter correctly, and I'm sure (and have evidence) that many are doing so - but I would never submit my site to an autosubmitter or even keep my submissions opened to the general public...

BTW: sorry to everyone who contacted me re. passwords, trades, gallery lists, or other matters! I haven't answered any emails since before xmas, and after that bad virus attack (see "Gen.Biz." here) I'm way behind with everything! It's now almost 9 at night - usually I'm offline for an hour or two by this time...

Hi GeorgeTH

Until now all my stuff has been private traffic pumps. From my work at FLASHCA$H I was getting so many people wanting to do link exchanges or submit sites & galleries etc to me for a boost in traffic that I got kinda tired of telling them no.

I decided late last year to open a site for gallery submits, link trades, etc. and will also be accepting free site submits later in the new year.

I still have a few bugs to work out and I'm still filling the site up before I start to crack open the traffic faucet so to speak.

I will post a different thread about partner submits soon (so this thread stays on topic).

If you like you can shoot me a PM and I'll share the info with you and set you up with a partner account.

I don't have any skim, blind links, etc. - what you click is what you get so I won't be taking traffic trades in that manner... I have been taking hardlink trades and category link trades though.

Netpiddler, it looks like you became a proud member of the Chameleon Submitter family probably without your knowledge:
