For $500 I'll gladly click the entrance page of your site for 48 hours straight. That's bound to be more than 60,000 hits, right?

There's a few different types of traffic. Their value depends on what type of site the traffic is directed to, and what your need for traffic is (ie. traffic trade kick start, productive hits). There is clicked, ppc, exit, popunder, gallery, banner, and more. I've been told that clicked is the most productive, but frankly, I really don't know my ass from a hole in the ground.

i've got some good converting taffic in my sig, same i buy from its good, not as good as se traffic but it converts and is cheap! take a look

I took a look at your site and I would like to know what the differecne between:

Commercial Taffic and Adult Traffic? Can commercial traffic be sent to a clinical site such as www.newremedies.com. This site is very similar to a WebMd type site. Lots of information, but we also sell products.

I went to the site and made a purchase. I waited a while and made an inquiry to no avail. Waited a few more hours and decided to hit you here. How do I control the hits that come to my site. I purchased 100,000 but I only want 2,000 per day.

Sorry, I have just seen this thread so I may be about to try "closing the stable door after the horse has bolted", but if you are buying traffic there are a few things you should know.

1. Before you buy make sure you know enough about buying traffic, for example a lot of sellers are selling pop unders which is very poor traffic as most surfers will never even see your site, but will register as a "hit" (pop unders are pop up windows that have your site in them but blur (pop up under the main window) and are usually ignored by the surfer).

2. Be aware that you will really have to "work" any paid for traffic, just dumping it on your site or, worse, on a sponsors site, means you will end up paying several dollars for every one dollar you get. Remember, the seller could have easily dumped his traffic on a suitable sponsor, it would be less work than selling it, so he will be charging you more than he could have made doing this.

3. Always read all the FAQ's and small print, there are some good traffic sellers but they are outnumbered by the cowboys and crooks. Look carefully at what they say they are giving you (exit/pop-under/404/redirect/etc) and also look for what they do not say they are not giving you, for example if they don't say that none of their traffic is pop-under then some (or all) of it probably is.

4. Also check where the traffic comes from, if they do not tell you be aware you will probably get a fair quantity of non-English language surfers (European, Asian, Russian, etc).

5. Never believe their claims without checking, I have seen plenty of sites selling pop unders and saying that they are the best kind of traffic.

6. For your first few purchases always buy the minimum amount. It might seem like a good idea to buy 100,000 hits for only five times the cost of 10,000 hits, but not if the traffic is no good. Always remember that although there are good honest traffic sellers, there are more crooks than honest dealers, and you will undoubtedly get caught a few times before you find the perfect seller.

7. Never rely on other people's recommendations, they are a good starting point, but even if the advice comes from your best friend, always check everything out first. This is for two reasons. Firstly the person giving you the advice could be an affiliate who is only advising you because they get a percentage of what you pay. Secondly, even if the person advising you is genuine, a good crook will be able to fool people, and the person advising you may have been coned themselves.

oh ecci i do affiliate with them, i actually was the one that got it started cuz i bought traffic from them and did real well and asked if they had one which they didnt but i sell things i believe in or like best so i got a personal affiliate thing going to start then they opened up a real affiliate program. it is pop-under and all info is available in the faq, but so far i am doing great with it. i also have a spot i pay for on a big site which is supposed to be better so far i made $25 lol so i think i will get some more from here. on the e-webtraffic i always made a decent profit, which is why i wanted to try and sell them as well. i had actually bought traffic from another company first and got scamed so your right to tell people to becareful! i got 10K of unique bookmarkers from the other company and so i felt quite comfortable in trashing them on my main webmaster board so when i saw a post about e-webtraffic and i had tried them with great success i had to go and post that they were good lol. i just wanted to clear that up lol i think in my original post i was clear i was affiliated with them i will check lol wasn't trying to be sneaky or anything. i have bought at least 100K from them myself.

ps i believe on the site you can get a free trial of hits sent so if anyone is interested try it and if you do well then buy!

Babymaker - my comments about affiliates were not aimed at you, but as a general point, I had not even realized that your link was an affiliate link although if I had thought about it, I probably would have as it was a link in your sig).

However I am curious (this is a serious question not a sly dig at you or the traffic seller) how do you manage to make money from pop unders at that price, do you use self.focus() or something ?

i just do well with it, on its own it filters well and i get a good click-thru and conversion rate, plus it helps with sextracker since i get decent traffic from sex tracker when i have massive traffic comming in per day i rank higher and get quite a bit of high quality sex tracker clicks which are basically se quality. but the e-webtaffic alone has done well for me conversion wise, i have a banner spot on a big site i wont mention this month and only 1 sale so far, tons of clicks but horrible conversions and i heard that was supposed to be better. also, i usually send the traffic to creampie sites or something like that whch is my specialty so that might be helping as well since they are probably being sent from a major mainstream generic porn site so when they see a micro-niche they are probably more likley to click-thru. other than that i really havent done anything specific.

ps brain just waking up need more caffine lol was up til 7am working on sites.

recently I had a designer helping me with something and I needed to give them access to my FTP...

while they were in there and saw the gazillion domain
names there that they had no idea I owned - they started
looking around at the sites...

they are now telling me that they are astonished that I
would have even been considering leaving "adult"
(since I had posted that "Goodbye" thread awhile back)

turns out they said - since I don't know the first thing
about managing my porn (and mainstream) empire
that I should be the one hiring and not the one looking
for someone else that's hiring... they told me I have
a goldmine at my fingertips if either I put a bit more
"targeted" effort and follow-through into what I already
have... they told me I have allot of traffic leaks and wasted
traffic... they told me that I had an average of 200k
per day collectively that's not working "for" me...

my question is - where does one go to find someone
trustworthy to hire - to manage their traffic...

and what would be an acceptable amount for me
to pay this perosn to do this sort of work for me...

plus - since I know nothing about this traffic management
stuff - - - how would I be able to monitor what they
are doing to know if they really are looking out for ME
or filtering it off somehow for themselves...
