Guaranteed TOP 10 ranking in Google

I just got a (spam) mail from a Dutch company which is called top10ranking ( http://www.top10ranking.nl/ ) .

They guarantee that on some searchterms they can put you in the top 10 ranking of Google. Some words like 'sex' are not possible (there are just too many searches on this word according to them).
For example a searchterm like 'free hardcore' costs about 300 Euro per year to get it in the top 10 of Google.nl (the Dutch Google version). Getting it in Google.com in the first 10 results costs more but I didn't request for this yet so the exact price I don't know.

I called them to ask how they are working, but no real answers were given (everything they do is legal they say, but it is kept a secret for us). They are telling me that I don't need to change anything to my sitecontent, title or metatags.

I think this is not possible. Google works with pageranks that are based on the number and the weight of the sites linking to a specific site. Besides this Google is looking at the words on the page itself (wether these words are marked bold and so on), the title the keywords etc.

So, how do they work, what do they do ?
They work with a no cure no pay deal.

Any ideas ?

Rule No. 1 - don't do bizness with spammers

Rule No. 2 - don't EVER do bizness with spammers

Rule No. 3 - If there can get anyone into the top 10 - why do they have to spam? You should just be able to find them.

They cant possibly put all their customers in the positions they say.. unless they only have 5-10 customers per keyword.. eg: if they have 15 customers that want to be top ten for "porn" - how do they get 15 into 10??

Short answer is there are 100% BS


IF they could get unlimited top 10 listings.. why would they sell them? they should be making shitloads with their own stuff...

I also hate spammers and don't want to do business with them in general.
Their website looked nice and their work seemed legal to me. So there I started to think about it. May be they can do what they say.
After this I called them and they did pretty secret about it (sounds a bit illegal to me).

Another webmaster told me that he also thinks this is Bull Shit because if you do a search on Google for "top 10 ranking" this company isn't even on the first 10 links themselves :-) :-) :-)

So OK, it became clear to me. No business with these guys.

Years ago, there was a company that did this. With the stroke of an electronic keyboard, WebIgnite was virtually wiped from the face of the net.

Now, I think CMGI stepped in and provided a bunch of cash, they went the way of offering SEO submission, and have revamped their methods.

How did they do it? cloaking.

Plain and simple -- WebIgnite maintained top positions and charged $200/month + $x per click for 'targeted traffic'. They don't do this anymore.

Ask the company that spammed you why they don't appear when you search for 'top 10 ranking'.

There is a loophole regarding google and cloaking -- I would suspect they are using that. If I were you, I would spend time reading the SEO forums of this board and asking questions -- and as DD said, don't support spammers.

Some great advise its best to read all the boards and work on it yourself thats what I do but it endless hrs and experimenting sometimes.

I do notice alot of webmaster's are spamming and getting top 10 google rankings ! Tell how am I supposed to get a good ranking
with this going on?

I *think* the point being made is - it is people who respond to spam that make sure we all get boatloads of it every day....... the logic being that if nobody responded to spam, nobody would send any.
