Hopefully sales will improve now that summer is winding down. Can't wait until school season starts.

Seems I've brought back a souvenir from the Keys in the form of a nasty cold. First food poisoning and now a cold, life just isn't fair.

I had planned on doing the gym today but plopping my fat ass in my office chair is about as much as I feel up to it so just a day of work planned on this hotter than hell day.

Sometimes I think people with guns follow me around or maybe it's just that way too many people have guns. While down in the Keys a woman shot her husband on the same street as our hotel was located on. A helicopter was landed on the bridge to medevac the victim.

We walked out on the old bridge as far as they would let us and I got video of the helicopter taking off which really wasn't all that exciting but seeing as we were trapped on the island there wasn't anything else to do.

Actually watching the turtles from the bridge was far more interesting.

Good morning. No colds or few guns here in gun controlled Canada.

Looks like my current mainstream project is being put off for a couple of weeks so I am on to adult and other stuff. My wife and daughter are away for a few days so it should be a relaxing time around my house.

Spent the evening writing a script in Python 3.2 (the 'new' version that has been available for a few years), got everything working until it was time to deploy it. Had to rewrite a few lines of code to make it work under Python 2.7. At 5am I was less concerned with fixing Python 3.2 and more concerned with deploying the code.

Other than that, this week has flown by.

Evening

You can tell you're getting old when staying out an hour past your regular bedtime at a rock concert pretty much ruins your next workday due to being exhausted
