smart thumbs question

if your importing sponsors galleries into a new tgp through smart thumbs, how do you get the galleries to mix up, as in different sponsors galleries all mixed up on the front page, because its imported thousands of sponsors galleries at a time, but each sponsors galleries are all together.
i.e. all of the main url is full up with just one sponsors galleries, so they need to be mixed up with different sponsors - how do you do this ?

yes - do you know how to get it to do this, exactly how to find the pages in smart thumbs admin to do this ?

Look in categories, there is a Niche output file. I think you have to create a blank file, upload and chmod to 777 for it to work. You can specify random refresh there, or you can rotate randomly.

BUT, if you have a sponsor with thousands of galleries and several other sponsors that have far fewer galleries the bulk of your thumbs will still come from that one sponsor. The best bet is to go through the sponsor and remove any duplicates or crappy thumbs. Time consuming but smart thumbs is not very forgiving sometimes.

Also worth a try is to change the rating weight of sponsors that have fewer galleries. This way if the thumbs rank the same the ones from the sponsor with less will rise higher to the top creating the perception of a better mix.
