Election Tuesday...Go Vote

Still really sick feeing but have to go out and vote today. I could be on my death bed and I would still go vote. I also get to drag my sons down to the voting booth today so, that should be fun.

Besides that, I think I will do much like yesterday. Lay on the couch. Except for the Election Party tonight...another thing I have to do

It's my daughter's 4th birthday today. The prospect of two dozen toddlers, high on e numbers, already has me full of ticks and nervous twitches.

Got an electricien sorting out my new investment op today for the family who are due to be renting it from me on Friday. Hoping I did an ok job of the carpet yeterday.

Looking forward to watching the election tonight. But NOT looking forward to watching the last in the current series of Sopranos. Life just isn't the same without Tony and the boys every Tuesday night.

Another day of construction and dust for me.

I was up past midnight painting and hanging fans and lighting fixtures in my shinny new bedroom. They are suppose to start on the floor tile today so I'm hoping to be back in it within a week. Then the fun part of trying to fit everything I own in my bedroom and patio so that the rest of the house can be tiled and walls textured and painted.

Jim the drywall, carpenter, and all around handyman is here installing a new door in the hole that was cut yesterday in the cement wall that goes between my kitchen and garage.

I'll be around most of the day hanging blinds, closet shelving, and other types of home remolding stuff. I'm getting a pretty big collection of tools. Yesterday I bought a level and stud finder. Now I can go looking for a stud and then see if they are level.

I'm working the phones at the Kerry HQ today, trying to coordinate those who need a ride to the polling place. Should be entertaining at least.
