MacBook movie playing help
Got this email from a member that is trying to watch WMV movies:
"MacBook Pro and have tried downloading the microsoft movie reader software for this operating system" Advice for him? |

Tell him to use the free version of Flip4Mac. This allows Quicktime to play wmv movies as long as they don't have any kind of DRM.
If the movies are protected by any kind of DRM then he will not be able to play them on a Mac. Microsoft's movie player for the Mac was discontinued sometime ago but even that didn't allow playing movies with DRM on the Mac. |
