WeatherBug Hurricane Watcher Widget
For us Mac users living in hurricane hell
http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashb...newatcher.html "The widget features satellite images with multiple views of current as well as developing storms along the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, and Eastern Coastal regions. The software enables users to access animated storm tracking functionality as well as the WeatherBug Storm Central website for weather news, in-depth information on current weather systems, and user-submitted photos/videos. The storm tracking option offers facts on each storm, and allows users to track existing as well as previous storm paths dating back to the year 2000. The widget also offers access to live neighborhood-level conditions via the WeatherBug Network of 8,000 WeatherBug Tracking Stations across the U.S. WeatherBug Hurrican Watcher Widget 1.0.0.1 is available for free, and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later." |

Thanks, Cleo, I added the Hurricane Watcher. Now we need a storm to see how it works.
Widgets are definitely cool. My dashboard pic below.

Nice Widgets
The PageRank, Thesaurus, and the Notes one looks very useful. Actually I would be just fine without getting the chance to try out the Hurricane Widget this storm season. |

Google Pagerank Widget (and others)
http://aroussi.com/projects Notes is the To Do Tracker Widget (and others) http://www.monkeybusinesslabs.com/software.html Dictionary + Thesaurus should already be part of standard Widget set (I think).

Deleting com.apple.Safari.plist in your home library preferences should default Safari back to normal. Be sure Safari isn't running when you do this.
I used Safari enhancer to turn on the Debug menu but it doesn't actually do anything to Safari. It just modifies its prefs to turn on hidden features. I mostly use Safari because it properly supports right mouse click and it is so well integrated into the OS. Also its bookmarks, password, etc. sync automatically between computers using my Dot Mac account and iSync. It's sweet being able to login from anyone's Mac and all my bookmarks, addresses, appointments, passwords, etc. are right there. I do use a few plug-ins for Safari through. http://www.laszlo.com.pl/webdev/todo.php http://haoli.dnsalias.com/Saft/index.html And while not a Safari plug-in Firefox doesn't support this because it doesn't properly support right mouse click. Gives multiple clipboards and other stuff. http://www.copypaste-x.com/l I do use Firefox for my geek work and doing reviewing. The webdevelopers' toolbar rocks. |
