For giving the Indian niche back to those of us smaller pay site owners.... A couple of my pals had to close their pay sites due to the competition from ARS and other major sponsors who have/had the revenue to make big one off payments which attracted a lot of affilaites and so filled all the TGP's etc.

I'm now looking for a cheap host with unlimited bandwidth where I can have 36+ hosted galleries for my pay sites, as due to the previous competition I wasn't prepared to do..

I should have said that I don't need much storage space as what does a gallery use It's just that I expect quite a bit of traffic..

www.ehostingbiz.com has unlimited bw at only 5$/month. I have a friend hosted there, and he says he's never had any probs with them and that the unlimited bw is real. Only thing is that their server is slow at busy times. But it's only 5$ a month so what do you expect.

The first thing I look at with these cheap hosts.. The Terms:

Adult Content - Sites containing adult material, links to adult material, or adult-oriented merchandise are not permitted. The final determination of what constitutes "adult content" is made by eHostingBiz.com.

Lots of galleries even with censored pics is construed as adult by US hosts. I have a protfolio on a few model/photrographer sites hosted in the States and we can't even have a topless photo as our main image.. DUH..

the guy i know who is hosted there is trace from www.nethitters.com
has adult content too so i figured they wouldn't make a problem about it. it's only $5 a month so maybe worth a shot

Bending the rules of hosts, http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...1651#post41651 and using non-adult hosts is not a good practice, and probably one that you should not be promoting.

Oh well, the one I mentioned dont seem to have any problem with hosting porn......thats good, cause they rock for doing gallerys.....

Joe A, I host my own sites with National Net...they are not the cheapest, but they are very solid with excellent support.

Amber.. Out of interest what bandwidth do your galleries use a month as I don't know what to expect and I'd hate to get hit with a $500 bill for $300 of sales

I have a large variety of types of pages on my servers...membership sites, avs sites, SE pages...when I was doing gallery pages full time, I was pushing around 50 gigs a day. National Net is not the least expensive host out there, but for sure I feel that they are the best! They've done right by me for many many years now and take very good care of their customers.

That's my 2 pennies worth anyway.
