Greenie, Could You Do This In The NFL?
Even though the NFL is a higher calibre of football, I like the CFL for the speed of the game and some of the rules they've adopted. For instance, the single point (aka the Rouge), the live ball after a bad field goal attempt and multiple men moving on the offensive side prior to the snap.
Anyhow, I was watching the last game of the season for two teams (Hamilton and Montreal). Both had made the playoffs so they were trying out a couple of tricks plays and one caught my eye: - QB is snapped the ball in shot gun position. - He passes to a receiver who is behind the line of scrimmage. - The receiver then drop kicks the ball past the line of scrimmage and recovers the ball which is considered live. Would this be allowed in the NFL? Enquiring minds want to know! |

The only time a kick is a live ball is the Kickoff as far as I know. |
