Video splicing
Hey everyone-
I was wondering if anyone knew of some good programs to split up / splice a large video into smaller clips.... I've seen some around for PC, but I'm on a mac! I've tried using iMovie which comes with the system but its not made for what I need to do. please help! thanks! |

check out sonic foundry's vegas video....it may do a lot more than you're looking for, but i'm pretty sure they have a version for mac

vegas video runs around $500 - too high for my blood! but thanks for the help

Hi romeoboi,
There are a few programs out there, but i guess i need to know what is the format of the movies that you are trying to split., eg, avi, wmv, mpg, mov etc. They got some good ideas here http://www.creativemac.com/ but if you let me know what type of movie you want to split, I maybe be able to help  Let me know |

Next time be sure to mention that you need something for a Mac in the thread title so that I'll click on your thread since I often skip threads asking for software figuring they are looking for Windoze software. I'm a Mac user since 1986. |
